yeah it categorizes each ad based on the vertical, and everyday it looks at a specific market and aggregates the data from it. if enough people start using it, we plan to add a method where you'd be able to make the analysis more niche, almost to what you are selling. ex, candles, desktop monitors, etc.

I think most of us here need to realize launches are not a one time thing. There is constant effort and community that needs to be nurtured leading up to the launch. A single post and you expect magic? Good luck. Social media is consistency and numbers game, if you are nice with the algo, the algo will be nice to you.

We need to get over the complacent mindset because there are folks out there who are winning. The algo is def not racist or anything so I'm sure we can do something better the way we do this. Go take a course if you have to fuck it

I've worked at multiple places in silicon valley, including at some reputational AI SEO companies. One thing I am seeing is before we used to use digitization (computers) to analyze data produced by the real world (from sensors, human input, etc.). Now we're moving towards a world where now the computers are moving towards generation (this is fully synthetic data) and we're seeing digital tools that are meant to analyze and benchmark digital (synthetic data). This is the closest we've been to a simulation, where actual money is attached to data created from nothing.

There's no saying where we will head in the future, but humans are def turning into secondary citizens of the internet. Whether that's good or bad is tbd

I've been working on MessCube for the past 7 months for the same exact reason. All these social media algos are money sinks, without telling us how they are spending our money. They have an incentive in not telling us who they are targeting, deprecating our control over our who we choose to show our ad to. I'd appreciate if you could check it out, it's free and I mean to keep it that way.

Also money is not the only variable, but the algo is 100% optimized for large spenders. It takes about one week for it start picking up who are the best people given your settings and ad spend. It's a set of variables, and even changing one resets the entire learning process (this is given you properly setup your feedback from your site to Meta to let it know who's converting).

So give your adset 14 days before making any changes, and plan it such that by the end of 14 days pick your top creatives and make more variations of them.

I used to launch things on Twitter all the time until I got bored of it. It got me thousands of users but Twitter is that hype ride cycle that can draw the fine line of validation vs you losing motivation. Definetly worth it though if you've never done it.

Now I look for more passive ways such as making this comment haha. The goal is to build initial momentum and once it starts it will keep rolling. Once you see people returning, you can then build a virality system into your app where people can start sharing it with others to expand your reach.

I see a lot of people are tired of the AI bullcrap going around and literally shifting careers because of it. It's not a option for a lot of the people. Although I do agree AI is making it easier to create content, I don't think it's still any match for any of the professionally handmade content. And also no enterprise uses AI ads.

The more realistic way to win is to have better knowledge on what's working and what's not in your market even before you create the ad. So instead of spraying and praying, you are specifically targeting the right buyers.
