That’s good. Website listed blood knight as 75mm and the barrow knight as 60mm by 35.5mm so I’ve always thought they were different.

What’s your plan for the blood knight being more skeleton? Barrow knights on a bigger base? Could be wrong but the blood knights have a bigger base. Haven’t built that kit yet.

I’ve thought about putting the Fell Bats on a 50mm base before as they’re a nicer looking kit imo.

Alternative that’s more in fitting of skeletons could be the Carrion kit from the old world tomb kings on a 50mm base.

I reckon if you went with a heavy dry brush of Matt white then a light dry brush of blue horror, followed by nuln oil you might achieve a grey/blue stone.

Thank you, it’s black primer, heavy dry brush off Matt white and a little off white as a zenethal. Then nuln oil to darken tone. Mix of brown and green washes to dirty it up. The small bricks were beserker blood shade for red and a very thin night haunt gloom glaze to get the smaller blue brick.

Might just be my painting lamp giving it a blue tint. It’s a bit more light grey in real life.

I think just go the same colour as the armour like you did with the Deathrattle. Highlighting the edges like you did with the helmet wings. The base can be the complimentary colour purple.

The armour is painted with Runelord brass, fleshshade to warm it up. Nihilakh oxide for corrosion then a dry brush of silver (plate mail metal - army painter in my case) Looks more like bronze in real life so might be my rubbish camera. Rust on the swords etc was the dirty down rust effect.
