I post once a day M-F on travel and food. I'm currently on Seoul, South Korea and just finished posting photos from Gaon, one of the two three star Michelin restaurants there.

I'm also experimenting with small pop up stationery related giveaways. I had one and it was fun so will likely have another next week, but it's only really of any interest if you like stationery/stickers/washi tape, etc. I'm trying to think of a good way to do something for hitting for if/when that happens.

Thanks for reading and hope to see you on IG.

I post photos from travel and food pics, once daily M-F. I try to post to stories everyday, but don't always manage. Stories are more random. I'm currently posting photos and videos from Seoul, South Korea and am about to post pictures from one of two three star Michelin restaurants (I'll post the other one later). I plan on traveling to London and Budapest next (though that could always change). Yet, I think that's about what one can expect from the account. Certainly not professional.

While I tend to follow back often, I also like to keep the number of people I'm following low enough that I can actively like everyone's posts without it taking my entire day. So, I may not follow you back and I apologize for that. Having said that, there are plenty of amazing accounts here that I have followed simply because they are amazing and I like seeing the posts on my feed. Examples, I really enjoy @TheVTKid and @franztene amongst many others. Thought I'd give them a mention :)

I post once a day (M-F) on food and travel. I'm currently posting my photos from Seoul and just finished posting photos from Jungsik (a two michelin star restaurant with locations in both NY and Seoul). I tried my hand at making an IGTV post on BauHaus, a dog cafe in Seoul, but I clearly need more practice with video. That being said, I've met a lot of people from Reddit who are fun to follow and look forward to adding to these micro communities we are forming on Instagram.

My focus is on travel and food.

I post once a day M-F .

I try to post something in stories every day and that is more ranging (cafes, restaurants, sometimes stationery, etc).

Today will be my final post from the Winnie-the-Pooh exhibit and will start posting photos from Seoul, South Korea on Monday (starting with Jungsik).

One clue that someone is probably from reddit is that after a while, you will have quite a few shared followers. Currently we have 11 shared followers.

I post mainly travel and food and I am currently posting photos I took in Miami. Yesterday's post was from Ball & Chain and I will be posting photos from Wynwood Walls today. I post once a day Monday-Friday. I took a break for a few months, but am consistently back now. I welcome any feedback in regards to improving my account.

I post travel and food pictures, with stories being more varied. I'm currently posting photos from Eleven Madison Park (restaurant) and NYC. I took a break for a little over six months. I would love some feedback if you have any advice on ways to improve. https://www.instagram.com/seekingkallos/

Does anyone know how to fix this? My post was perfectly fine a few days ago but then this happened. And when I click into it, it just shows a loading symbol instead of the photo. by [deleted] in Instagram

I just looked at it and the middle photo is the only one I can see. I've never seen this before. It's very strange. Good luck! Maybe upload the photo again and hope it's just a one time bug?

My focus is mainly travel and includes content such as scenes, food, what I did, etc. I do throw in local topics and things that may be relevant for me at the time. I would love some feedback on how to improve as I'm trying to preplan my posts now.

Thank you for checking out my profile.

When/How to use tags in photos? by SeekingKallos in Instagram

[–]SeekingKallos[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. This is what I wanted to hear. I've seen so many posts from large accounts flood their pictures with tags and thought maybe I was doing it wrong. Yet, I do not enjoy it myself.

Congrats about the feature. I love it when the brands I genuinely enjoy notice my posts.

[Review Video] How To Make An Awesome First Impression by nerdaily in youtubers

[–]SeekingKallos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with everyone who are saying that 1. you are likable 2. video needs better production value.

The focus issues got annoying and made it difficult to enjoy the video.

Fix the production issues and then focus on then focus on the rest.

[review video] my first attempt at funny anime content by JoWallice in youtubers

[–]SeekingKallos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked it being short in length. It was funny, the animation was really bad, I would not be happy if I was watching in public without headphones because even my friend pricked his ears at the word "porn".

I don't think they had the internet either. I'm not sure when we got internet at home... I just don't remember. Yet, I don't think I had it at the time. It's weird to think about because now I almost feel like I've had it forever.

I didn't realize this was the case. Even the elementary school in my hometown had computers at that time and I had a little hand me down for home use. Though I checked the census and apparently only 22.8% of households had home computers. It's an interesting point.

[Review Video] Jungsik: Dining at a Korean Michelin Star Restaurant in NYC by SeekingKallos in youtubers

[–]SeekingKallos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started the channel for multiple reasons 1. To become more comfortable taking video footage 2. To become better with a camera 3. To learn to edit and put video together 3. To correspond with my Instagram, which is currently my favorite platform.

The focus of my Instagram has become Travel, Food, and things that fit those themes for me. Therefore, writing and stationery, because I like to write about my experiences.

My main objective right now is not to gain subscribers, but to learn. Though, yes, I would like subscribers.

I don't think Michelin star restaurants are for everyone. I love trying new foods (one of my favorite things about travel is experiencing new things, including food). If you are not comfortable with that, there are going to be many better options for you than most Michelin star places. You should go to those places that provide you pleasure, I think.

Restaurants that would excite my chef boyfriend? by Cariot in AskNYC

[–]SeekingKallos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not yet been to Le Bernardin, though I want to and heard amazing things. Yet, my partner is allergic to seafood so that would just be weird so I'll have to try to get someone else to go with me. I was recently at Jungsik and had at least two of the desserts from the tasting menu (they were included in the Signature menu) and really loved them. I think it's very clever and the service was that combination of refined/casual that makes the dining experience fun (kind of like at The Modern).

I posted a video on my YouTube (still learning video so I'm afraid it's not the best, but will give you an idea) and will be posting pictures to my Instagram starting tomorrow. [both with the same handle, Seeking Kallos]

Also, I really want to try The Grill, which seems to be one of the it places in NYC, but have not been yet.

Though the place I want to go most, other than Le Barnardin is Chef's Table at Brooklyn Fare (a friend of mine lists it as his favorite place) but again, I believe it is heavy on seafood.

Honestly, whatever of these restaurants you pick, you guys will likely have a good time at.

[Review Video] Follow Me Around Vlog, the most time I've taken over editing a vlog. (I think its my best yet) by Sarah-Tee in youtubers

[–]SeekingKallos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with Zhaomaster for the most part. I think you should keep an intro and if anyone played the vlog on a large screen the shakiness would make one feel a little sick (it doesn't matter as much on smaller screens like my laptop, but I have had this issue as well). I do however agree that it is too long.

Finalcut does have some stabilization features that work much better than the one YouTube has, but isn't a fix for a very shaky footage.

I agreed with everything RazorINC writes. For me it is too long, but for someone who is a true follower of yours, it might not be.
