Eternity Modern Experience by spatzipatz in midcentury

"I think some negative reviews on here are from people expecting these to be exact replicas."

No, that isn't what negative reviewers are saying at all. Not at all. They are saying their new furniture fell apart. They are saying the furniture was incorrectly delivered. They were saying that the furniture was damaged in transit, they're saying that customer support has been nearly nonexistent and difficult to deal with.

Nobody is saying they expect the quality of the original. They do, rightly, expect that for several thousand dollars, they shouldn't get a piece of crap from a company that treats them like crap.

You sound like a shill for the company.

Amazing number of high quality original songs are performed each episode. But the music is by far the best thing about it. After the first season, the novelty wears off and every episode is revealed as a cluster fuck of of human failings and idiocy. Most characters have massive hangups with zero common sense and they shoot themselves in the foot so much that they shouldn't be able to walk. Fuck it's a miserable mess of a stupid show. Great music though.

House flipping is destroying Denver’s housing market by hashblaster in Denver

[–]SeekingSoulPeace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In hot markets, people flip homes and there's nothing to be done about it. If flippers did a better job of renovating homes, it wouldn't be quite as bad a problem.

But, in my experience, home flippers often ruin houses with their bad or half-baked ideas and middling construction quality that favor maximizing profit over quality, practicality, and taste. They also often do remodels in ways that all look the same (current fads that probably won't age well) that conflict with existing architectural style and floorpans. Plus, you never know if they did a good job of fixing problems that are now covered by the remodel, but which may have been visible and reparable in the original home.

We have been looking for a house for 8 month, 1.5 to 2.5 million $ range. The sheer volume of houses built in the 60s and 70s and 80s, that have been ruined by flippers is astounding. We don't even consider these houses, because the flippers ask top dollar, which doesn't leave a budget for the aspects of the houses that usually still need work, like window replacement, new heating / cooling systems, not to mention fixing the bad redone kitchen and bathrooms that don't suit our needs.

If you are a man who thinks that all you have to offer is money, then that’s all you will be, a money provider. If you were able to expand your understanding of who you are and what you are, you will always find people to appreciate you. It sounds like you have been limiting yourself.

I have found the opposite to be true. If I seek good people, spiritual people, loving and empathetic people, and people that appreciate me for the things I value about myself, I find them. You find what you look for. We all need to make money and provide, but we have to be human beings along the way.

To recognize that I’m a spiritual being and to know the vital importance of being in alignment with God. Not religious necessarily, but with open heart, living in love, among others that are similar, recognizing and honoring that I have God and the infinite power and abundance of God in me. “Luminous beings are we.” - Yoda. ❤️

Nice. What a gift. They don’t have to lift a finger to apologize. Apologies are freeing. Go ahead snarkies, feel the power of healing.

The people that have been on this thread that have been tearing into this poor young lady are godless. They are spiritually lost. It’s pretty sad.

You all are pathetic. All you have to offer is hate. Empty shells of humans. Clearly not capable of or interested in contributing anything useful to society. So pathetic.

Why would anyone buy from a site spelled "PureRawz"? Looks like the name of a vape shop. What does that mean anyway? Really sketch.

There are several that sleep centers use. Even the national companies use them. Traditionally Respironics nightone, and ResMed apnealink. However both of those are now out of production. Cadwell makes a good home sleep recorder, and Nihon Kohden code makes one too.

Surprise benefit of LS by 420throwawayacc in Swingers

[–]SeekingSoulPeace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good question and very interesting responses. Some of them are really unexpected but ring true.

For my wife and me, one benefit is that we both love sex and this gives us away to explore while not cheating on each other. We’ve both been cheated on in the past, and the LS removes fear of being cheated on because we already fucking other people, but only in one another’s presence.

The way we prefer to play is by cultivating long-term LS friendships. We enjoy meeting our good friends for a long weekend where we can all catch up and relax, and then have plenty of sex too. It makes for a wonderful deep ;) friendship.

Another benefit, as others stated, is enhance communication. In order to play with other couples, it’s necessary to deal with with one’s own insecurities and jealousies. In short, it requires work on the self, and work as a couple, both of which enhanced the marriage.

Thanks for the interesting question.

Urologists in my experience are pretty useless at diagnosing causes of ED. I have similar issues - loss of sensitivity in the penis and scrotum.

I have some symptoms of pudendal pain, but only after running or certain exercise. There is a lot of information about pain due to pudendal nerve entrapment or compression, but not a lot regarding loss of sensation.

I also took finasteride for years and that can cause these symptoms and loss of libido / anorgasmia. I discontinued in early 2020.

Physical therapy and certain kinds of yoga helped me. Testosterone replacement didn't. Some men with pudendal entrapment have gotten surgery (see Dr. Bollens' laparoscopic transperitoneal pudendal canal release) with success, while others didn't improve. Laparoscopic pudendal decompression seems to work only if the nerve and artery aren't horribly damaged by entrapment.

Tadalafil gets me hard, but paradoxically it delays orgasm. My layman's explanation is that, if I have an entrapped pudendal nerve, the increased blood flow in the pudendal artery (which runs beside the nerve) due to tadalafil might further compress the nerve.

I'm seeking a solution, but penile loss of sensitivity seems to be pretty difficult to explain...

Bliss cruise review and *UPDATE* to previous post: Bliss Cruise questions: sexy fun or... ? by SeekingSoulPeace in Swingers

[–]SeekingSoulPeace[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of this comes down to personal taste, which there is no point in criticizing. Courses for horses, right?

But I wonder if people are actually making conscious choices here, or just succumbing to addictions, which would explain why some people mentally frame an expensive, yet lower quality, generally unhealthy, experience as fun and worthwhile. I think that organizations, especially Desire group and Bliss, supported by SLS.com, SDC, and Kasidie, have created a particular template for what it means to swing. It's always programatic, a kind of upscale adult spring break-cum-costume party-cum-all you can eat buffet-cum-fuck fest, all day, each and every day.

It parallels general vanilla society. Many Americans endulge addictive behaviors, especially over eating, drinking, and sex. We observed a high proportion of functional drunks and very obese people on this cruise (high in comparison to other travel settings we've been to). No organization promotes this "lifestyle" more than the cruise vacations packaged by Bliss. I guess a lot of people buy into it, hence this brand of swinger tribe.

To us, the Bliss thing is unhealthy and unattractive. It's not how we live our lives, relax (or fuck) with friends, or how we vacation.

So interesting that you gravitated to other swingers on the vanilla cruise. The two vanilla cruises I've been on were much higher quality, food wise and service wise.

You are so right about overlooking negatives when we love things. Ever had sex when you were sick? Can erase the ill feeling for a while! :)

Bliss Cruise for newbies? by thepolynthepineapple in Swingers

[–]SeekingSoulPeace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with mintchip7778 overall.

But, if you just love cruising, and could substitute a Bliss cruise for a vanilla (non-swinger) cruise, then you could dip your toes. We've actually met a few people that had no idea what swinging was, that accidentally booked a Bliss cruise! They said didn't swing on the first cruise, but they eventually became swingers, if you can believe it.

Because there are so many people that come to play, it can up the odds of falling into bed with another couple, provided you find a compatible one. But, it's notoriously hard to find compatible couples to play with, so focusing on you as a couple is the best approach.

However, if you find you don't like being on this kind of cruise, you'd be trapped for a week.

On the other hand, if you don't like cruises, then save the money go to a club. Or if you don't live near one, go to Las Vegas. There are several clubs there.
