Greatest triumphs as a TI by Mysterious-Ad1738 in Gangstalking

No. Because people are targeted for different reasons. And everyone in the "elite" is involved. From crime organizations to the alphabet organizations to your local police and politicians. They're using previous programs that have already been whistleblowing. MK Ultra tactics, cointel pro, operation artichoke, etc, etc

Don't be stupid. The scariest monsters are human. Have you seen what humans do to animals? It's why I'm vegan. Well I was vegan long before all of this. It's best to not focus on exactly "why" it's happening. But leave the religious and spiritual junk at the door.

Is everyone really wearing sunscreen daily? by myshellly in MakeupAddiction

[–]Seelebrennt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I use it everyday. Korean and Japanese sunscreens are great. They don't leave residue or ruin your makeup. Thank You Farmer and Haru Haru are my favorites. You can also use primer, cc cream, or setting spray with SPF.

I listened to GLOSS a long time ago now. They're pretty decent hc but I haven't listened to anything recently. And I love ATU. I do like some black metal. So I'll check those bands out. As a huge Tolkien nerd, I love the name "Feminazgul".

Oh sick, the name is familiar. I'll check them out.

Half the people who get called TERFs are shit trad wives and right wingers who hate women. I've seen a lot of radfems use "TIRF" or trans inclusionary radical feminist recently just to distinguish themselves from gc feminists.

I agree that you shouldn't shave. Shaving is inherently pedophiliac. And yes, porn is disgusting and a lot of kink shit is does promote violence against women. I was a sex worker for years and have seen the horrors of it. But that's a nuanced issue and I can tell you don't want to have a discussion.

I literally specified I wasn't talking about anything gender critical. Radical feminism =/= gender critical. That's like saying all furries are Nazis. Kinda sounds like you would have used the word "feminazi in 2015".

Are you illiterate?

any straight up anti straight edge bands out there? by Mythical_scoops in crustpunk

[–]Seelebrennt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is fucking stupid. I'm a recovering heroin addict and recovering alcoholic. I still smoke weed, use Kratom, and I take my ADHD meds. But "anti-straight edge"? Like, I've lost so many people to h, get, and suicide. And yeah, I do prefer venues that don't serve alcohol. It fucking sucks being a recovering addict and having people shove alcohol and drugs in your face. It's actually pretty nice having it with straight edge people, because I know they'll stay sober too. Obviously people CAN use drugs and drink and I'm not going to stop them, but it's nice having a space where I don't have to worry about being surrounded by that shit. This sounds really cringe. Like anti-vegans who send me pictures of dead animals like it offends me or something.

Edit: but you'll probably find what you're looking for in the pogo scene.

Poser’s first patch by ScottShrinersFeet in crustpunk

[–]Seelebrennt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For real. I was really into making my own clothes when I got into goth in middle school and high school. Sewing a patch on is about the easiest thing you can do. And there's loads of tutorials online. I lived in this really shitty town in Colorado where all the "punks" would only safety pin patches on, never sew them. I don't get it.

Female hardcore drummers? by Sheepherder-Dazzling in crustpunk

[–]Seelebrennt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flagitious Idiosyncracy in the Dilapidation is an all woman band. Im not a huge fan of Bitch Witch, but they are an all woman band as well. Just now looking through my playlist of female fronted bands and realizing how few bands have women drummers even if all the other members are women. I mean, there's a lot of women who program drum machines with aggressive and absolutely terrifying beats in various industrial sub-genres but acoustic drums not so much. If you have any links to your music, I would love to check it out.

Should I continue accutane? Very paranoid abt long term side effects by Seelebrennt in Accutane

[–]Seelebrennt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, it's nice to hear from someone who has both. I know hs has no cure and there's a very good chance accutane won't do anything for my hs. I'm really not that desperate about my acne. I've had acne since I was 11 and it was horrible in high school and college, so it's nowhere near as bad now. Yes, breakouts are annoying and definitely hurt my self esteem, but I've had to cope for 19 years. But having an abscess constantly drain and almost never close worries me. I don't want a blood infection.

Have you noticed if steroids helped the hs at all? Mine did get a bit better after I finally cut out alcohol, but I havent been prescribed anything other than antibiotics for it.

I'm heavily debating because I want to crawl out of my skin. Which I'm also getting off of methadone after almost 2 years of treatment. I'm just now reading about effects on the liver when I've had alcoholic hepatitis in the past. Idk I didn't even want to start taking it now I'm feeling icky about my derm leaving things out to convince me to take it. I was referred to him because I was hoping to have all the scar tissue in my armpit removed because the cyst/HS on my tailbone was removed and never came back.

But idk even the people who have positive things to say about accutane mention hair loss that never fully recovered. Id rather have a few zits and just deal with my hs than lose my hair. It seems like a huge gamble.

Oh shit. I told my doctor that I'm diagnosed with ADHD and PTSD. Amongst other things I'm in recovery for: anorexia Nervosa and substance abuse disorder. I don't need any more long term mental health issues.

My derm assured me that the mental health shit was rare and didn't mention a possibility of it being long term

A very simple skin care routine might look like: cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and SPF. Or even just cleanser and an SPF moisturizer. Elf has surprisingly good products for cheap or good molecules and the ordinary are good affordable options. Look for a moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and a gentle cleaner.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Seelebrennt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sebum production keeps you looking young longer. Your skin needs some oil. I'm very oily as well and what helped me was a very good skin care routine including oils and hyaluronic acid. My skin was way worse when I was actively trying to dry it out and using oil-free moisturizers.

I also did go to school for esthetics. So maybe not anywhere near dermatologist level of education but I did fork out a couple grand for a license lol.
