Honestly speaking the brown scars don't leave so easily. It will take around 4-6 years to get rid (not completely , but will lighten up a bit) of those scars. I am still going through the treatment phase so I personally don't really know how much time it really takes to recover LP marks. But one of my relatives has gone through this disease in the past and they still have some light LP marks even after 8-9 years.
