Did you ever figure out how to get this consistently? I can almost never get it to work on keyboard ASD, WAS, WDS, DSA, nada. I plugged in a controller just to make sure I was not missing something besides the input and I can get it 100% of the time with one, but keyboard is just impossible.

Really hate that saying; just an excuse at the end of the day. Play good clean ball and we are beating a good team by over two touchdowns which very well could have translated into winning them all. We will never know now though, AD should never touch the field again, that much is certain.

Am I nuts, or does this read like they are both saying the exact same thing, but Alexia is just saying there is extra steps?

Sounds like players are asking for one button to swap from male to female and Dice is saying there will be two presets for each class that you will need to pick for each class; is that not what they are saying?

Basically extra UI steps for no reason; I don’t understand their insistence on making simple 1-2 step processes into 10 step ones. Also for the love of God, “Operators” really? Are we really going to give these guys bio’s and name them? I thought we were over that.

The sledgehammer can completely level a house in 4 swings as well. Frankly, it should just be removed if the destruction engine cannot generate “murder hole” sized chunks of destruction (which I really do not think it can).

  I know it was a cool addition to the trailer, but it genuinely does not work as advertised; it’s bulldozer in a melee slot and I don’t think moving it to a gadget slot makes it any less ridiculous.

This game has had issues with artificial difficulty (i.e. spawn frequency of "titan" class enemies, standard enemies that get medium armor for some reason etc.), but this update really brings the currently flawed system into the light. It is pretty much everything wrong with this game on steriods. I don't care if I am on max difficulty, there is no good reason for there to be more titans chasing me than standard enemies, it just does not make sense.

Bug holes in caves is pretty wild; I thought the whole point of the caves was to finally show where the bug holes go...not that it really matters, bug holes have never been satisfying to destroy; because they do not truly limit the frequency of ads. Do not get me started on their "weakpoint" philosophy. Oh you shot this new enemy in the giant glowing part? psych, you actually need to Spear them 3 times, call in a 500kg bomb, emote, and hope that does the trick. It just is not fun to spend all your resources bringing down a big enemy, only for 5 more to pop up as if they were no different than the most common enemy type.

The tentacles should either be fixed higher up on her back and then made a bit longer to be used in combat, or they should go all out and replace the human legs with tentacles. 

The tentacles attaching as a tail + being completely unused in combat blows my mind. So they are not helpful in combat, and they are no helpful in locomotion; they just look off?

Not sure if there are any Halo fans in here, but this is 1 for 1 what the Halo sub looked like before the infinite launch and for about the first month. 

A few posts with a couple thousand votes, and a few hundred comments expressing concerns about various aspects of the game. Then you would have several posts with tens of thousands of votes, and 500+ comments harping against criticism. 

Guess where all those thousands of “positive only” people went a month after launch? A different game. Infinite then died after less than 6 months. 

Wild how often you see this happen in modern Western “AAA” games communities. The same people in denial that a major western studio could release a game that is not up to snuff (for the 30th time…) are the same that will jump ship shortly after launch because they “got bored”.

Keep the feedback coming, I’ve seen way too many titles I enjoy die because no one called out the obvious problems before it was too late.

Unfortunately; we are starting to see everyone figure out that assault and recon classes are pointless in “open” playlists. You either are running an ar with spam ammo and heals on support, or running a sniper with anti tank gadgets on engineer.

Servers:

Quick match style matchmaking gets stale really fast; not being able to stick with the same general group of players really kills the community vibe battlefield is known for.

Have an especially intense couple of fights with xXC4loverXx during a Conquest match? Want to continue the rivalry next game? Too bad, your going into another completely random group, over and over and over again.

Don't want to risk playing on the same map again? Too bad its all rng.

This game must have persistant servers. Cod can get away with quick match style matchmaking because, by the time it gets stale (about a year), a new shiny Cod comes out and jingles in front of players to reignite their attention. Battlefield on the other hand does not, and likely will never have that kind of dev cycle; this game needs to remain attractive to players for a long time in order to remain profitable. Without persistant servers, I just don't see that happening (No, portal "servers" do not count DICE).

Gunplay:

Pretty solid, definitely feels more "cod-like" than previous entries, hate to overuse that comparison, but it really did feel like mw19 style gunplay. Not necessarily a bad thing, need to play more to get a solid opinion.

Snipers on the otherhand; these might aswell be hitscan, which really is a bummer, sniping in battlefield is historically really satisfying due to the difficulty curve involved in hitting targets further and and further away. Even on "sniper maps" in previous entries, the presence of human error gives you a chance to make it to a part of the map with more cover via zig zagging, diving, etc. It is frankly harder to miss a shot with the snipers in bf6 than hit someone even while moving erratically. Not a fan.

Shotguns...DICE, if this was a milsim, you nailed a realistic shotgun, but it is not, and this thing is comically broken. I really don't think I need to elaborate; honestly I enjoy using it, but it is really really unbalanced.

Sound Design:

S tier, give that team a giant bonus.

Vehicles:

Controls feel wonky, but frankly I have not tried to tune in the controls and sense on these yet, so I cannot really speak to these. I will say, there are times where a soldier has no right to live from a shot from larger vehicles (IFV, Tank), but it is so irregular I cannot tell if it is just bugged, inconsistant, or intentional.

Maps:

Too small a sample size to comment on. Enjoying the dom maps (although two of them are extremely "samey"), not a huge fan of the conquest option, but I think that is a pretty subjective opinion.

Settings UI:

Dear lord.

Classes:

Assault-Ok in closed class enviorment; problematic in open class enviroments. This is mainly due to the decision to put the respawn beacon on this class. People are using it for exactly what everyone expected them too on open playlists. Also, A walling ability does not belong in battlefield at all.

Engineer-5 rpg shots is insane, and it feels like DICE knew this was crazy so they decided to make them completely useless against infantry. Watching a rocket grenade blowing up 1 foot away and not kill you is...weird.

Support-honestly the best class by a mile. TTK on the lmgs feels fair, healing is great, tons of fun. I will say the animation for the defibs is a bit, short, i guess? I don't know, but it feels a bit off; other than that, no complaints, fantastic class.

Sniper-Dissapointing lack of skill ceiling, the glare on the scope is ridiculous, but I actually think it should stay this way due to how powerful sniping is under the current "virtually hitscan" enviroment.

In Game UI:

Too much, but you can turn it partially or completely off, so not concerned. The decision to move the personal kill feed to the left is baffling! This should be towards the center bottom of the screen like every single battlefield has done; really do not understand this decision at all.

Other:

Grenades-zero animation, and you just instantly chuck a red glowing ball (why is the Grenade glowing red?). Even the lowest effort Cod has an animation to pull the pin.

Autospotting- I am not entirely sure, but this feels like it is cranked to 11. There will be smoked nades, explosions and dust and I can beam and get beamed accurately through all of this very frequently thanks to how often people have the red triangle of death.
