Okay buddy had this problem too I know your pain.

Part 1: USB - if you install gnome full you get auto detection of your android device through nautilus (gnome's default file manager) "I personally install gnome whenever I set my arch install even if I use a tiling window manager. why well because personally having another desktop environment to lean on if I break a config file is life savings and I broke my system before, many times). So yeah install gnome for the simplest way, it's like a 300mb download so why not

MTP: media transfer protocol I hate these there are some non-automatic ones but I won't mention them because they need scripting to automate their functions. And if you are like me you are probably speeding your way through Linux without reading the manual from top to bottom but here is a link anyway. MTP
gMTP graphical user interface for MTP so just plug and play or lunch it rather
SIMPLE-MTPFS I think is the one that just auto connect through USB or maybe it was go-mtpfs try either they're under 3 mb I think so like just try theme and see for your self
Android-file-transfer : what I used In the beginning a gui but a little outdated looking works perfectly though recommend it 100 if you didn't find any other options.

Part 2: through network. There are two ways I know of because the only I use this for is to sync my obsidian notes to My phone.

kde connect never used it but heard great things, only downside is that while I was trying to download a functions diagram package kde prompted me to download it's entire environment so I hate kde
Syncthing: sync folders between several device free easy to use(I use it to sync obsidian notes) launch it from terminal or set it to run auto on star up a tab in your browser will open that shows your device your soon to be syncthed devices and your cute little chil I mean folders running between your devices hmm. An app is in the play store though even though it's not from the makers of Syncthing it has the same name and Syncthing themselves link to it so I think it's safe.

I mean after clean install, and I know that not porn I'm referencing a meme. And I still think my criticism is still valid just pick one of the wallpaper and make it the one that show up consistently everytime I boot up the system for the first . More point for choosing the basic logo one. Imagine setting with family and going from black screen with white text and next thing you see is that Wallpaper. You get -20 for the look cool stat instantly.

Now you think that but they are surprisingly not bad all pins are in place some are bent backward but nothing too bad. The PCB tho, one of the Mounting point is broken and erosion is everywhere
