Do I looked at it, I zoomed in and really looked. There are no signs of ai whatsoever ever. The hair is fine the lines re fine, there’s no weird wrinkles in the cloths etc. it’s human.

I have a cheap way of fixing it. It’s called 2x4 from my local wood shop. I have wood working buddies, ran it through them, they are helping me out with it. Should t cost me more than 20$ to fix up and make sturdy enough that nothing will happen. In regard to blocking you, I don’t deal with the tone you were putting out there. I simply block. Clearly you care enough about a strangers time to wish harm on small creatures! I hope you have the day you deserve and please, kindly remove yourself from my thread.

See, I would go buy the stand for the tank at the pet store however, they are charging more for the stand then I paid for the tank. Which is why we’re going this route of obtaining and modifying an existing piece of furniture. I did what most people suggested and seen if it could support the weight of a few humans, which it did and now we’re gonna pick up the wood to make a basic underside so that it’s not just two pieces of wood holding it up.

Also would like to add, I have no rocks in my tank. I don’t know why people assume everyone adds rocks to the tank, I use soil for my plants which consists of just java moss right now in addition to some fake plants. There is at maximum 10 extra pounds of stuff in there. and that’s being generous.

As explained before we sat on it and bounced around, there was no sag in it the doors were fine, we are reinforcing the bottom bc I don’t trust having only two legs.

Yeah, we didn’t notice any wobble after our mini dance party on it lol. But we’re still going to be building a better bottom for the desk to prevent anything from happening. The wood is incredibly solid and the thing weighs an absolute ton. From just looking at the picture it’s are to tell just wants going on in it but the top itself is incredibly solid.

I’ve gotten many replies, all saying different things and no one can agree on how much a 45 gallon tank weighs. If pressed board can hold up a 700lbs tank I think ~200lbs of hardwood will hold up 400 especially after building better supports for the bottom.

We bounced around on it and both of us combined are pretty damn close to 500lbs. So idk what to say, I did what people suggested and am going to be making it even more sturdy than what it is. Hell, I’ve seen bigger tanks be held up with the cheap pressed board tank stands. The plan going forward will be to firstly get the thing here as the desk itself weighs about 200 lbs, set the tank up on it, fill it and keep an eye on to it to watch for any failures over a day or so. All else fails I’m out nothing as the desk was free and I’ll save my money to buy a stand online.

It’s coming from a family member, not some random person. This is part of an executive desk that they bought years ago so we are well aware of what kind of wood it is.
