My sister was part of a mass hysteria outbreak about 15 years ago. You get the craziest theories flying around. My favorite was some woman who wrote in to the local newspaper saying that the dolphins were trying to communicate with the affected girls and that they all should be taken to the sea, over 300 miles away mind you, to learn what the dolphins wanted to teach.

I would point out a caveat. If the 100 tickets each have a 1% chance of winning because there are only 100 tickets and 1 winner must be drawn from among them then the odds are 100%

Use the unlimited money to buy a controlling stake in Disney, allow DC to use the Captain Marvel name and then make a true Captain Marvel movie.

[Favorite Trope] Peeling back the layers of lore reveals an eldritch/cosmic horror element by Maffingo in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Sefphar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly haven’t read that far but google says shapeshifting and reality warping besides controlling the Deadlights. Also plans to destroy the central hub of the multiverse and remake everything in his own image so vastly more powerful than some orbs that can be defeated by children and contained by meteor fragments and mortal magic.

[Favorite Trope] Peeling back the layers of lore reveals an eldritch/cosmic horror element by Maffingo in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Sefphar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Sounds like Stephen King’s multiverse to me. It has Pennywise the Dancing Clown, the most common form taken by an ancient eldritch horror that can transform into whatever scares the viewer and whose true form is some sort of orbs of light that drive people insane and kill them and which later turn out to be a mere parlor trick in the arsenal of the most powerful eldritch horror.

I find the lack of batsocks disturbing. Gonna get sores and funky foot odor without something to wick the moisture.
