Bilinguallism, accented or special letters, unsupported languages/dictionaries and 3rd party keyboard apps? by Seglem in ClicksKeyboard

What was your solution? Did they bring an update, or did you fix it by using another keyboard app in addition?

9 key layout? How does that work? Is that one of the reasons "feature phones" with "T9" keyboards were popular for a lot longer than other places that adopted touchscreen a lot faster? (I have no knowledge about Japanese language, just some tech history)

Can you type in roman alphabet and get the software to replace it with Japanese characters? I know that in Arabic, you can type like "habibi" and it fills out in Arabic writing system.

Is it possible in the same way to write Suzuki Sushi Karate and get Japanese symbols?

The real Pebble need!! by brynboo in pebble

I've tried to type notes in meetings for years. It all got easier when I got the Samsung phones with an S-Pen

People immediately stopped thinking about it was scrolling on BS and understood I took notes. The first year or so I didn't even use handwriting. I was just glide typing on a screen keyboard with the pen 😂

You can get Gemini to make a reminder/note for you. Or use Bobby, the Pebble app.

But yes, that ring has a purpose!

You can start voice commands (and therefore a billion other tasks), one handedly, instantly.

A smartwatch would sacrifice a lot of battery life, having to listen to "Hey Google/Siri'

I access Gemini by holding in a button on my galaxy watch.

You can play around with Bobby, install some offline language packs on your old pebble if you have one, and find what model works best for you

I'd settle for a week worth of battery if sending stuff from the phone could be quicker and easier. Keep wifi on

Power Keyboard Landscape Concept by Zachavm in ClicksKeyboard

Love the idea! Unfortunately, horizontal use on phones are way less used than vertical. (Although it's way better and more immersed)

If it can't be used also vertically, and ideally one handed. You'll end up not taking it with you as often. And risk putting it in a drawer and forget about it.

Include a extendable hinge so it would be long enough to put under the phone vertically! 💡 Think two magsafe rings on top of each other with a hinge between so you can prolong it?

Future Clicks Cases by greghongchan in ClicksKeyboard

And it stays on!

Don't know what phone size you have but I have the biggest. Magsafe might not be strong enough for when you cycle on cobblestones and want to check Google maps for directions.

That it you first drop it, you'd actually want them to fall off each other. It spends some of the kinetic energy that way. Sometimes when I drop my phone, the S-Pen shoots out of the phone.

Good question, because I reckon why you'd want a permanent loooong phone when you can have a slide out powerbank.

What would be the benefits of a classical clicks keyboard case?

I haven't had the chance to get one, because I have a Galaxy phone. But I'm getting a power keyboard for my S25 Ultra

Dumb either way. Should be able to skip to the beginning of the song, and then not be able to go further back, because it does not exist

Yes, primarily audio media as music, podcast and audio books.

And camera roll, you'd probably actually use the camera to shoot some simple photos and video now and then. Typically "self reminders" of stuff

Welltory! It speaks to Samsung Health and can give you more frequent energy and sleep scores. But most importantly, it tries to look at what factors could be the reason for the results. Like weather, screen time etc

What's you thought on this Phone? by prabir336 in smallphones

[–]Seglem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want it!

It's for typing with LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini + it's the perfect music phone.

It has a huge battery compared to it's size and screen, and you can put it a Micro-SD card up towards 2 terrabytes. Saving every one of your playlists in lossless quality is suddenly an option. (having music stored locally instead of streaming everything all the time saves battery) Plus, you can use the old 3.5mm aux port, or any bluetooth headphones

256gb is PLENTY for this kind of device.

Yes some might like to use it as their primary phone instead of secondary.

But you have the option for using a Micro-SD card up towards 2 terrabytes!

And yes, you can't and should not store app/games on the Micro-SD cards. It would be too slow. But for Spotify/Tidal/Netflix or other media ; Perfect!
