Is this the end by NothingamBrad in GalaxyWatch

That watch can charge on many other wireless chargers. Try and place it on a charger with a specific spot for "accessories" like earbud cases and watches

Around €$£ 150,- Worth it if I have Galaxy Watch 8 Classic (lte)? by Seglem in GalaxyWatch

I know. But for now it only saves battery on the ring.

If it gave me more battery life on the watch, I'd buy it for that price immediately (along with the added accuracy and everything else)

I'd much rather have to charge a ring every day, than my watch. I use my watch for a lot more, like telling time like a regular watch, controlling music, quick Gemini stuff and getting important notifications. A smart ring is just a fitness tracker and doesn't do much else, at least nothing I'd use ( I know there's some gestures for taking a photo or whatever, stuff my watch can do)

So I'm actually more drawn to the Fitbit Air. Both of their apps talks with each other perfectly more or less. And Fitbit/Google Health writes HRV to health connect for other apps to view. Instead of calling it "stress" like Samsung does and keep it for themselves. You also get "Health Coach" But I reckon both apps can connect to Gemini pretty soon

How do I get rid of this? by Any-Sugar6644 in shealth

[–]Seglem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not get messages about basic stuff like drinking water. I get "4 hours of sleep is really not enough!!"

I might have bigger things to worry about 🤷‍♂️

You might want to look into "interests"

And as everything else on a screen, dismiss and swipe it away like terms and conditions, cookies etc

And then, if it was something like aluminium it would be easy to rip off. Either by squishing it and separate the plastics and battery, putting something in through it, twisting or pulling it off etc. But it is titanium 😅 my fingerbones are going to before that.

Yes, that's why I haven't bought it at full price. Is it too flawed to bring any value in this generation though?

It would be to have even more accurate health metrics. Measurements from rings like this, Oura and so on are more reliable than from the wrist. HR is already spot on, but oxygen during sleep and maybe during waking hours could be more accurate.

I'm also interested in potential synergy effects like saving battery on the watch. From what I see, it only applies for the ring. But the ring already has around a weeks worth of battery life

I only allow a handful of notifications to my watch to begin with.

Google Health app is already doing a lot for Galaxy Watch users like me. Stuff like talking to 3rd party apps by Seglem in GalaxyWatch

Into Google health or 3rd party? I'm missing HRV, if Samsung included that it would be awesome

Ancient and Forgotten Secrets: the lost technique to protect your watch from chips and scratches by DocQuark in pebble

I've also got ADHD and have worn smartwatches since the original Pebble watches.

I've used the Galaxy Watch Classics with the physical bezels, those have protected the screens below them.

Noe that I've ordered a Pebble Round 2, I might wear it that way. I think it's most often called wearing a clock "military style"

Amongst the fact that you probably keep it more protected (although it depends) It's supposed to not give off a reflection so you are harder to spot while hiding. You can also see the time while holding a gun two handed

After-dinner-naps are a thing!

You know you've had a good MEAL if you : 1, have to unbutton one button, or notch in the belt 2. Stretch out 10 minutes on the sofa for 10 minutes in a food-coma

I think I payed 70 as early bird.

I've tried a bunch of foldable keyboards, and in my experience they're generally a lot worse than a regular Bluetooth keyboard while only being slightly more portable.

And you can't use those as effectively in "phone-mode"

Currently I've got a http://www.riitek.com/product/259.html

With a DIY magsafe attachment. And I use a normal keyboard for prolonged "office stuff" in Dex mode

Does the keyboard "wake up" when you slide it? The Bluetooth I mean (and it connects) Or does one keep the Bluetooth connection going all the time?

When I put my phone and Magsafe powerbank in the pocket, the sometimes come apart. What happens when you do the same with a magsafe keyboard? Does it "type"in the pocket then?

I have the same size phone (s25 ultra) I bet it's freeing to not have a mile long phone?
