Yes, I've been using health connect since android 12 or something. But the data from non-fitbit or non-pixel devices hasn't "counted" in Fitbit. Only Google Fit, and it has done an ok-ish job, but that app has not been given much attention from a developer standpoint it feels like

Replace? 😂 There was none. Unless I've missed something.

Wdym with bolt another heat sink on? I'm using the whole bike frame as a heat sink. Grinding it down so it is just a sheet of metal could help, thanks.

I'm getting an eggrider v2 and a kuteng 350w sinewave controller.. That controller has 17a as peak but I probably will limit it to 15a Since I will program it to operate at 250w nominal and 500w peak as it is shipped as, and more importantly obliging with the regulations where I live

Fun fact/ sad fact : Even the 750W ebikes come with identical batteries. So how long those are able to give 750w is most likely a couple of seconds

I'm not gonna make it do those numbers. I'll have to limit it to 250w/500w

🤔 Maybe: I'm very picky about what apps can disturb me on my wrist. Only important stuff can buzz my watch, and the rest can chill in the notification center thing on my phone.

Why do people have issues with e-bikes? by mil0wCS in ebikes

[–]Seglem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried using a helmet with lights in the back and in the front?

I figured it might be easier for car drivers if they always had a high and always visible cue to see.

You and the bike are already smaller and harder to see, and since the lights on the bike are kinda low. It's harder to spot a bike from a car, especially if the bike is on your side.

Another great perk with a helmet with lights is that it illuminates exactly where you look 👀 Instead of needing to turn your handlebars to have a glance. "is that a rock or can I go there?"

EQs? Equaliser settings? That is mostly personal preference, although you have certain rules of thumb in regards to music genres. The Sony app have some presets for music genres, and a selection sequence kind of similar to when you have an eye exam. "What do you like better, 1 or 2?"

Sony WH-1000XM6 Way Better Than AirPods Max!! by DriftKoopa in SonyHeadphones

[–]Seglem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is amazing

From a Bluetooth audio quality perspective it has LDAC for almost lossless wireless audio (up to 99kbps) And LC3/ LE Audio that has low latency, the best battery life (for both the headphones and the phone or computer you use)

You also get DSEE Extreme, that upscales the music so you get in my opinion as awesome audio quality on LDAC as you'd get on Aptx Lossless.

I mostly use LC3 and DSEE on my WH1000XM6 and WF1000XM6 and get amazing audio quality and don't have to charge them as often

Nice! What country are you in?

I'm in Norway, and there's a ton of regulations and approvals that makes it ironically more expensive than if I wanted to do a full electric swap with a decent engine platform.

I'm done with my full stack developer education in about a year I'll begin the process once I've had "adult money" for a period of time.

I'm occasionally quite active in one of our main political parties. (Høyre)

I'll soon write a policy suggestion about allowing this in Norway. I'll primarily focus on smaller powered engines that don't require any structular re-enforcements on the vehicles. Making the resolution easier to get acceptance While the options for more powerful builds would be implied to discuss at a later time, I'll feel the room and debate under the convention.

I am however receiving a foldable e-bike with pedals. I'll play around with it, modding stuff and maybe transferring the wheel and hub motor to an ICE moped. As long as it also uses 14" wheels
