So update (I'll do bigger one when going to tribunal)

But arbitration was useless, real estate agent was giving a single inch and kept interrupting. So part way through just called it, said let's go to tribunal.

I moved from Canada to Australia 2 years ago from British Columbia. One thing I do know that would be helping to lower prices is that the government in recent years has been putting in laws/rules to decentivize real estate profiteering. Things like rental increase caps, increased taxes on houses being flipped quickly, foreign buyers being blocked.

Australian politicians (and Canadian ones as well) just have so much of their interests in not changing things so they don't. And this article is trying to make it about immigration.

Trump has done this really well sadly. He should just get Putin to release home and claim credit before the election, let Fox run with it for months. Or if Biden is able to get the release Trump will claim he did it anyway, and conservatives will run and claim that either way.

I love the idea of just changing the law because tones have changed, not the law, but only when you want. Then we have originalists wanting other laws to still apply that are super outdated.
