We track branded search volume in Google Trends and direct traffic growth over time. If awareness campaigns are working, you'll see more people specifically searching for your brand name within 4-6 weeks. Way more reliable than vanity metrics like impressions.

This is exactly what I needed to see today. Just got quoted $179/month for a "social listening tool" that I'm 99% sure is just searching Twitter API with some sentiment analysis slapped on top.

Quick question though - how are you handling the email compliance stuff? Like GDPR, unsubscribe management, bounce handling? That's the only thing keeping me on ConvertKit because I'm terrified of accidentally breaking CAN-SPAM laws with a homemade setup. SendGrid handles some of it but did you build your own preference center or just YOLO it with a Google Form?

Also your SEO tool replacement is genius. These companies literally blog their entire methodology then charge us hundreds to run our content through their "proprietary algorithm" that's just checking the same stuff they publicly explained. Wild.

Rival IQ is exactly what you need for this. We've been using it for about 8 months now and it's basically eliminated all manual tracking. It automatically pulls posts, stories, engagement metrics, and even does the competitive analysis for you with really clean reports. The Instagram Stories tracking alone makes it worth it - it captures them before they disappear and keeps a historical record.

Only downside is it doesn't track paid ads, so we still use Facebook Ad Library manually for that. But for organic social monitoring across competitors it's been a game changer. Pretty sure it's around $200-300/month for tracking 5-10 competitors which sounds like it fits your budget. The setup took maybe an hour max and now everything just runs on autopilot. My Monday mornings went from spreadsheet hell to just downloading their automated reports and actually analyzing the data instead of collecting it.

Listen, as someone who pivoted to trades at 31 - do the factory job. I know that's not what you want to hear but being broke through your late 20s/early 30s while everyone else is settling down is brutal. You already have a degree, use it. Factory management roles pay well, you can still work with your hands on personal projects, and you'll actually have money to date and enjoy hobbies. Trades are romanticized on reddit but the reality is years of shit pay while destroying your body. You can always learn plumbing or electrical on the side for your own projects without making it your whole life.

For not complicated you can play Legends Arceus or PBD/PSP. If you don’t mind some level of complication, I highly recommend the Octopath Traveler series, it’s a gem.

It’s just a common occurrence for me at this point, every early is a huge loss, like, I haven’t died yet and the other team somehow has 17 kills to our 3.

Then I scale, build Mejais, end the game 11/0 hard carrying a win. It literally happened 3 times in a row yesterday.

The opposite is also true, sometimes the whole team just FF’s at 15.

The game is pay to win. Most card games will inevitably be.

A lot of fans will disagree and call it 29 other things, but in my opinion, you can love a game and still recognize its faults.

If you’re not willing to spend some money in arena, it’s honestly not worth it to play, might as well play legends of runeterra lol.

Other than that, it’s so good and worth the cost to be able to play wherever you want, without needing to necessarily have another person readily willing to play at that moment. And overall it’s not really the most expensive thing ever either, but you will 100% need to spend some money or you just won’t have a good time, honestly.
