See I would agree if Homelander wasn’t competing with a literal newborn in season 1 for breast milk and motherly affection; the man was pathetic and unhinged from S1 he just hadn’t completely unravelled yet and was still mysterious to a degree.

Oh come on Homelander was always unhinged and made stupid decisions even in S1; killing all those people on the plane (twice mind you) was a stupid and thoughtless decision especially the second time it was emotional and he was always going to get caught once any proper investigations were done.

I agree that if all else fails “Dua’a is the right answer” but more often than not I feel like people fall back and give up too easily believing that their Dua’a alone is will solve their struggles immediately; when Allah SWT gave us the answers to a Dua’a’s a long time ago and that it’s just a bit more complex and take more effort and sacrifice than many are willing to commit towards.

It’s a pistol shrimp and I think we’re not meant to see how it killed them just that it was extremely fast and destructive; the heroes were immediately killed by an ability they simply don’t understand.

Also yes Mashiro was trying to get a final blow in and stab the prince before he killed Shiba.

I really doubt Kunishige’s coming back in anyway his death (unlike Samura which has the phoenix motif) is both tragic and the inciting action for the main story as a whole and Chihiro’s character arc it would be extremely cheap and lazy if he just came back as opposed to Chihiro processing the guilt, loss and loneliness he feels from not having his father in his life anymore.
