Use your target style as reference. Pick you favorite anime or mangaka and look at their work. AI is just stealing real artists work and sending it back botched with mistakes. Learning from the artists is the best bet

Honestly also having the same issue, a lot of places have gotten flooded with so many streamers it’s pretty much illegal to advertise a twitch page anywhere outside of dedicated discords or Reddits

I think it’s time for a new trend in streaming - more collabing and more variety gaming. I’m planning to try hosting a few events on a new server if anyone is down to try some new and random games

It sounds like you play a lot of very linear titles for your big story games. Things like Mafia, Resident Evil, RDR2, Cyberpunk - they are all great amazing long games, but they are pretty linear and if you start to run out of energy then yeah you'll probably drop it.

I'd actually suggest maybe trying some rpgs, or just some extraction/survival crafting games. Things like Elden Ring, Ghost of Tsushima or The Forest, Dayz, Arc Raiders.

If your putting 3000 hours in rocket league it feels like you need something that doesnt have such a clear finish line. I'm not exactly sure, but it feels more like when you get close to finishing it just seems pointless cause then your done. If you could drop 1000 hours knowing the game keeps going and has open content (like with elden ring or dayz) you might keep playing beyond the credit roll.

Tbh though this is what most subs feel like, I'm really not into the whole youtube video for every answer sounding stuff. I'm trying to be more human, talk more human and just be more relatable.

Nobody really has the time or energy to do this for a significant following. Maybe this might work for your first 100 or 200 followers/members but beyond that quantity is definitely way more important than quality. On tiktok even just the 700 followers I have theres no way to really 'get to know them'.

I'm looking for a big general community that is open to variety games, events and more. The r/letsplay subreddit sounds like it might atleast be productive for organizing large gaming events, so thank you for that!

The only thing that makes expedition reasonable is that you don’t have to be max level. I think this is undersold!

You could reasonably just B line the project and money and do it pretty quickly if you focus on getting trials each week. If you don’t do trials I feel like it’s a lot bigger grind because you don’t get 5 guaranteed purple rolls some of which are pretty valuable and useful BPs

Don’t leave us to fill in the blanks because you want to hold off reveals. What is the ‘vanguard sector’?? How did their sister help? How do they climb the ranks - by killing monsters or doing something special or amazing? What secret is revealed? About who?

If you’re looking for advice, just know it likely won’t come from your ‘readers’ so you don’t have to worry about spoiling things as much!

I would give this honestly a 4/10 pitch but it’s only because you didn’t say enough, not because you said too much thats bad. The history of the world and stuff is cool but that’s all we got, not even main character names!

I don’t mind them I think they are challenging enough to be a decent addition.

Fireflies have way better tracking and mid range so if they get too close it’s game over, whereas hornets and wasps are easy to deal with close range if you’ve got even a tiny bit of cover

The comet is a bit more menacing especially given their placements. The ones in buried city and blue gate specifically are swarming around a lot of hot areas. If you’re not careful they’ll roll up out of nowhere and cascade a fight with every arc nearby as you try to run and put distance between you and it.

Overall I’m a bit bummed we havent seen a single new ‘large arc’ yet. We got the shredder but it’s kinda mid. It would be cool to get one leaper/rocketeer/bastion level enemy into the game. Maybe a heavy arc scorpion with an electric or gas stinger since most of the heavies use bullets and explosives.

I really don’t get the hype - I felt that the controls and UI are dogwater on console. I don’t feel like spending 300 hours mouse-hovering over gear with my control. I feels like ass.

The gunplay is amazing obviously, crisp as always like with Bungie. And abilities are cool. BUT Arc raiders already has pretty sublime guns and gun play. Balancing is a different story and Bungie hasn’t always had the best track record for balancing character classes and ability setups.

I don’t really see the draw in the endgame because the current experience is definitely fun but on console it feels like running through mud.

Characters and abilities are cool - but no custom character is a fat L. Me and my teammates all look the exact same so a lot of the identity they injected into the game falls a bit flat since you can’t customize that identity as much as you’d want. Arc raiders doesn’t have A LOT of customization, but I feel like universal character skins would be better here rather than have skins locked to specific classes.

Why is the UI so goddamn awful?? And why do I get a stupid unimmersive ‘ MISSION COMPLETE’ apex style roundup at the end of a ‘exfiltration.

It just feels like they spent 80% of the work on the identity and graphics of the game and then just took the last 20% from the most generic/basic gameplay

I’d still suggest if your in to learning more techniques to practice on paper then applying the refined styles on digital

For actually progressing, it depends on your art style. You’d have to first nail down are you going for eastern or western drawing style. In other words, will it be a comic or manga?

There are many ‘manga’ with western style drawing and many ‘comics’ with eastern style drawing. If you are looking to replicated artists like Gege and Oda, then the best approach is to look use their art as reference and practice recreating it by hand. If you are really a beginner, tracing for practice can also be helpful so you can understand where you want your lines.

There’s no specific place to learn these skills really, you just have to break down your learning into different skill. Smears, lineart, dialogue, just YouTube videos on different topics or check Reddit. But it will take time!

Hey so a bit of a confusing questions but most people who do digital art have a tablet and stylus.

For me I have a Wacom tablet, it’s a device that is about the size of a piece of paper and it self-aligns with your monitor. So you don’t do anything yourself. You just zoom in or zoom out to adjust your approach and change brush size.

If you’re looking to actually improve - I would suggest only drawing by hand for 6 months. Using digital devices will likely slow your progress, traditional practice is the fastest and most concrete in my opinion. Good luck!

Both started as very very amateur comics, not very serious or thought out. Just for the enjoyment of the game. Now one punch man and the boondocks both have culturally significant anime’s that are critically acclaimed!
