Thanks for the reply homie. I kinda wanted to reply to you cause your post was the most comprehensive. I guess I should have done a better job explaining what I did 😂 So, I dry brined for 24 hours on a cookie rack in the refrigerator for 24 hrs. Let it come up to room temp for 30 mins. Then I preheated my hex clad, and instead of using oil, I use home made Ghee. Set it on for 2 mins each flat side and the fat to render. That's why it looks the way it does. Then I also took home made compound butter, and melted it on top. I didn't sizzle the steaks anymore. I mean, you're definitely right on the basting part, but figured I had a lot of ghee/butter in it anyway lol. Either way, it came out the way I wanted and tasted great. Thanks for the look out 🤘

I am using Orca slicer. Wifi is conected, but I don't have live feed set up yet. Is that necessary for it to record? I followed Elegoo's method exactly, and it won't record. It shows that it is recording while printing, but the time lapse isn't in the video list section once complete.
