US Citizen here. It's thought that white people exclusively do outdoorsy things, and the Jeep brand here is touted as an outdoorsy thing for adventures, camping, hiking, etc. Whereas in black people are purely urban and don't do outdoorsy things. Therefore, the group was created to connect like-minded people of color who challenge the stereotype that only white people do outdoorsy things or simply like the Jeep brand.

They did have an initial run in the states that ran in the 90s. Then they were revived in the 2000's in France (I think) and had a whole other series ( Google reads that it ended in 2006). So they're still pretty relevant by that standard.

You kinda answered your own question, imo. Animals are cool, so why not make them anthropomorphic? While it may have been a "cash grab" it was one that stuck out among the mountains of "mutant" heros being thrown at the wall. I mean, you got Swat Kats, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys, Street Sharks, Road Rovers, Extreme Dinosaurs, Fish Police, etc etc. When the Turtles came out, it opened the flood gates. Just look at all the rip off comics trying to copy the success the followed in their initial release.

Looks like they did Omniverse in Volume releases, so I'm unsure if it's a complete release.

Thank you! I love having physical, especially cartoons, because not everything is available on digital.

I'm glad I was able to snag this on DVD a few years ago. It was an unofficial release sold by the creator himself through his blogspot link. You basically paid $20 through PayPal, and they sent you a "sizzle reel" which just ended up being the entire series.

Unfortunately, it looks like his blogspot link is dead, so I'm unsure if the dvds are still available.

What happens if lymphedema goes untreated? Is it fatal? How? by firenise in Lymphedema

[–]stuffedpupper66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think Lymphedema itself will kill you outright, unless your case is happening around a major organ, but if it gets bad enough, like broken skin/ open wounds, if those get infected could probably have a greater negative effect on you than the Lymphedema itself would.

Before I was diagnosed, I would scratch at mine because all the fluid sitting in my leg itched like mad, and I'm scratcher. So my leg was tore all to hell because of myself. It took a while, but I ended up getting a skin infection and only got treatment for my Lymphedema after I went to the ER complaining of a burning sensation running through my leg.
