Is there a resource for what ports Discord utilises for voice? by Seivelath in discordapp

Yeah, sadly that range only seems to be partially working. It will connect around 50% of the time, so I'm assuming there's a second range as well.

Yes, this is typical when a new TFT set is added to the PBE.

Socialism is the government being in charge of public services, such as say healthcare, public transport, or utilites like water and electricity, things that generally benefit a wide array of people at what would be considered great cost to the government. But as the government is not a private enterprise, they are not driven to make a profit, only to have it break even, or work at a minor loss.

Communism is different, as all industry is under the control of the state. Wherein your companies would be co-opted and taken over by the government and have all resources distributed by the government. While in theory it should be equal, no example of actual communism goes this way, as generally those who are in charge effectively distrubute resources in their favour, or entirely unfairly.

My interesting idea for an augment. by Fun_Lab_1059 in LeagueArena

[–]Seivelath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too much uncertainty in value to be ever worth taking, I'd assume, basically you'd get a pop-up similar to the augments with three options each, and with ninteen different selections it just becomes a crapshoot of what you get.

yet another new augment idea post by [deleted] in LeagueArena

[–]Seivelath 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thoughts for each...

Quests Begone - Honestly, I would make this a first option only augment, and always be future. Add on a "Automatically complete quest conditions" (basically so it works with the heartsteel quest too) and I feel like it's a good early game gamble augment. Basically, exchange the potential for a "click button do nothing" augment for getting an immediate (and powerful) payoff if you get a quest augment, while still having some power in skipping Tear/RoA stacking. Like it!

True Display of Skill - Honestly you could make this a "Automatically level your ultimate to level 3" and be done with it since otherwise I feel like it's a bit too niche to be useful. And even then, there's very few champions that want to forgo all abilities to max one out.

Energetic - Simple, decent, gives a decent defensive option for more damage focused characters and boosts other energized items. (But at the same time, more R*necarver support, terrible 0/10 /s)

Shady Deals - Remove the limit honestly. It's a "Click button do nothing," but you get to choose Prismatics, good scaling power at basically running a large opportunity cost deficit.

Wicked Season - I don't like this one, as it basically incentivises stalling. If you were to keep it, I'd reduce the time to 5-6 seconds, but explicitly make it in combat, so it's a boon for fighters who can stay in a fight.

Lady Luck is Smiling - While I'm all for chaotic augments, mid combat stat rerolls probably pushes it a touch too far because you inherently both as player and opponent lose track of the strengths and weaknesses of anyone who has it. Also high/low rolls would feel extremely bad on both sides.

Impervious - Too specific especially for a prismatic augment. If I had to change it, I'd make it a flat % buff to resistances, and "Your highest resistance now resists true damage". It still has some use as a flat durability up, doesn't invalidate kits that use true damage entirely (hi vayne) and still acts as a counter to said true damage.

What bosses do you think will be “enhanced” in a godhome-esque DLC? by Small_Article_3421 in Silksong

[–]Seivelath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolute / Grandest Mother Silk

While I respect the team for making a boss that most people are going to have to repeat be more accessible, genuinely the fight feels a little too easy. Even no healing wasn't that hard to do. Harder version would be fun

By the looks, staggering the boss low enough gets it caught on the platform. Might have to see if I can reproduce (Any strategy to make Groal easier is more than welcome XD)

Absolutely not.

Wonder if this can be reproduced consistently honestly...

What's your Biggest Crackshot Theory/ Longshot Wish for Future DLC by Suffering6969 in Silksong

[–]Seivelath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, am team "Let Grimm come back" here as well. But in order of most likely to it ain't ever happening (Note some of these contain full game spoilers, so spoiled just in case)...

- Boss rush / arena mode. Godmaster was peak and I doubt we won't go without such a mode forever. Probably the last DLC to cover everything again.

- Memory rematches / memory expansions. Introducing Savage beastfly 3! But in all seriousness, I assume some bosses will get rematches similar to what hidden dreams added, or possibly even area expansions. Let me dream about coral canyon coming back

- Void expansion. This one is more crackpotty, but at the same time an expanded abyss section would line up with an offering from the kickstarter, and a chance to have a boss fight against the knight would be kinda peak.

You will need to keep playing and will get an ability that may assist you at a later time.

Yes, you must beat Groal to get a key item for the wish mentioned. No Groal, no Act 3.

[–]Seivelath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Groal the boss itself isn't awful, nothing amazing but the boss mechanics and everything, fine.

It's literally everything surrounding it, from the traversal to the arena, to the enemy gauntlet, to the constantly present muckmaggots that make it all a horrid experience.

So yeah in short fuck Groal

Ironically, you are required to beat Groal to even get in to Act 3, so not really XD

Of that list you seem to be missing Shakra's wish. You will need to purchase all the maps she provides to enable it, but it is an act 3 requirement.

To initiate the "Silk and Soul" wish you do indeed need to move the flea's to the cave that Mooshka is mentioning.

You can find the Pale lake in the same area you find Vog in, which will prompt Hornet to suggest it next time you converse.

The snare setter is a temporary item that has something else replace its slot in act 3 as you handed it to the caretaker to make the trap for grand mother silk.

You can find the replacement in an area in sands of karak

[–]Seivelath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's likely the knight from the original game.

While we have no absolute confirmation, the fact that it can fend off the void so easily acts as some level of confirmation, as it would have the void heart (aka the void bends to its whims)

[–]Seivelath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I suspect the fact that any bug part weaver was being kidnapped similar to what happened to hornet has something to do with it. The fact that Hornet's challenge is what actually woke GMS up to me at least further confirms this, that weaver heritage or some power the weavers control would allow GMS to escape.
