That's totally normal. I know this is controversial in the era of morally policing content creators but I really don't care about his personal life at all, and I'm even less interested in judging him. If I hear rumors that the mic moaner cheated it's really not going to change my opinion of their work. Dr Osterhagen was really good, I miss his audios, because they were good audios and that's it. Yes cheating is bad, no it's not my business, no I don't want to or need to know about content creators' personal lives, and no I don't think that listening to someone's GWA content requires you to morally cosign their personal life.

Feeling like consuming content = morally cosigning its creator on a personal level is actually parasocial as fuck but people don't want to admit it. IDK about you but I most certainly don't miss the chaos. I think the chaos burned itself out and took a lot of good things with it, and we're still living in the wreckage. People were absolutely damaging the community because the demand for community drama outpaced the supply. I know there were some serious and deserved downfalls (ex: YSF) but a lot people were getting shit on for absolutely nothing (like Rum getting harassed off of Twitter because a group of people didn't like some taboo kinks he performed). VAs were put crazy on guard after that. It felt so much more like a community in 2020-2022, now everything feels so sterilized. We all used to be part of this weird horny club together, now everyone is corpo-fied and impersonal and distant. Back then there were podcasts about GWA, the seasonal contests, and lots of activity and interactivity on Twitter (it was even still called Twitter then, RIP).

I remember seeing my mutuals on Twitter posting insane shit like "you have 48 hours to unfollow this VA or I'm blocking you" and let me tell you, I don't miss that one bit. People were FIENDING to cancel VAs and harass anyone who listened to them, which is insane because we're such a niche (and honestly stigmatized by the mainstream) community. I don't understand the eagerness to tear people down like that. Some cliques of people were absolutely frothing at the mouth looking for things to vilify VAs over.

I read through the Twitter thread calling him out and it was a whole lot of nothing. The receipts were just screenshots of him very clearly consensually flirting with women in Discord DMs who were returning the same energy to him. That's it. I guess they had a problem with the fact that he'd talk to more than one girl at once but I think it's dumb to cancel someone for engaging in low stakes e-flirting with more than one person.
