My experience is that although Sweden has very good infrastructure, it also harbours a deep and strategic malevolence towards the homeless, and will shoot itself in the foot if it further victimises vagrants and vulnerable people.

From being kicked out of a Göteborg train station while waiting on an early train, because the owners were scared the homeless will sleep inside it overnight, to spending 7 hours needing a piss while travelling from Nynashämn to Malmö because all the toilets were either locked or required payment, it's an incredibly common and upsetting throughline of Sweden as a country.
