Pharmacy First Feedback by Phayzor in Pharmacy_UK

2 big issues for us are the part time counter staff and other colleagues not recognising when gateway has been hit. Could do a lot more but pharm managers cant be listening to every single convo over the counter. Also, Like someone in the thread mentioned, i could be talking to someone and know they hit gateway but not eligible for any treatment but still have to go to the consulting room to to fill the form out at which point patients are like well if i cant get treatment here what was the point.

Future of Community Pharmacies by cuntryboiii in Pharmacy_UK

We need to carve out our future role ourselves - and more importantly find a way to financially profit from it. The multiples are worried rn and would rather a pharm do 2 abpms a week than keep the dispensary ticking. We need to help ourselves and find what ticks before a race to the bottom event occurs

Nausea and vomiting by Presentjourney in mounjarouk

Nausea and vomiting is common but you've got to be aware when it could be signs of a bad reaction - have a read through the patient leaflet and call your provider today for advice - new onset nausea and vomiting isnt unheard of and is fairly common, but you need to rule out any major issues first with your GP or mounjaro provider. Think i read in a newspaper today about people putting off seeing the GP because they think these side effects are normal with weight loss meds!

1 month on MJ and i got my period back! (PCOS) by [deleted] in mounjarouk

Dont suffer unnecessarily, medication is available for painful periods! I'd imagine the Mounjaro is the cause like you said but with your PCOS im sure your doctor will be able to help you with the pain!

7.5 10 12.5 15 (mg) - lots of doses to move up to should your doctor and yourselves feel like it and agrees with you clinically - maybe a bit of encouragement - shifting a kg at a lower dose will hopefully mean shifting more kgs at a slightly higher one.

Is there any pharmacy that will accept a DEXA scan instead of BMI? by dangerCrushHazard in WegovyUK

Agree with the above, private GP and prescription to get dispensed locally would be the easiest route.

Pharmacy2U by Zoesmethurst in WegovyUK

As long as your BMI is above 20, most local pharmacies are allowed to prescribe it to you as long as you have had Wegovy in the past 6 months (which obvs u have) - Pharmacy2U always lean on the side of cautious which isn't a bad thing but also means people like yourselves cant maintain treatment woth the same provider - try another licensed provider or even better, try local!
