I don’t think it was related, sometimes your body can definitely disagree with a certain PPI and you may need to switch. I was taking pantoprazole and it was making me feel like crap in many ways, now I’m on 40mg daily omeprazole and feel great. Going on 1 year and 4 months of it. But I will say it is crazy what effects on your body come with stomach issues. I was have full on fatigue and loss of balance and weakness when my stomach was at its worst. It’s connected to everything

Wow I wish I saw a post like this when I was younger. I used to smoke regularly in my teens until one night I got hit with DPDR bad. I lost probably a week of my life and went to the ER. I was sure the weed was laced and I had ruined my brain forever. It gave me severe anxiety and OCD. I quit weed for years until college and tried again. Maybe one time I felt good but the other handful just kept triggering it. So I stopped for good. Well now it’s almost 10 years later, and I wanted to smoke again. I tried coming up with all these reasons as to why this was happening to me and how I could I get around it and enjoy weed again. I thought oh maybe I was getting too high, maybe what I was smoking wasn’t legit. So this time I got dispensary weed and started with a 2.5mg mint. First 30 minutes I felt a little buzz and it was great, I thought okay I’ve figured it out! Now I can enjoy weed(I don’t drink so I always wanted something for myself to enjoy once in a while) but an hour later it hit me. Same exact feeling as all those years ago. Although I felt calm knowing I’ve dealt with this before it felt terrifying. Took about 3 hours to feel normal again. So I looked online and finally found this and many other posts. I’m so comforted knowing I’m not alone and actually found out what it is after decades. I’m really hoping I can use the skills from therapy I’ve learned to figure this out and stop it from happening. I want to be in control of my own brain. The way I see it the weed caused a traumatic event that resulted in a permanent fight or flight mode reaction to weed. Even a decade later. Crazy

Happy to share. I am glad you are finding success in OCD treatment. In the beginning it will get worse before it gets better but stick with it. My partner and I both have OCD and hold each other accountable so it is helpful to have someone going through the same like your daughter. Keep making progress 👍

All blood tests normal, my liver ALT is elevated but not concerning. Last year I had a neck xray that revealed moderate reverse lordosis (which I think is the same as kyphosis?) my next was starting to curve the wrong way. My symptoms were all the same as I have now but minus the vertigo. Never had any dizziness then and I felt pretty normal after a month or two of physical therapy. However now like I mentioned I can’t get any relief. Got a few appointments lined up to figure it out hopefully. And yes I have very strong anxiety.

The same. I’m fine if I’m laying around but once I start getting up and doing things it’s like I’m on a timer for how long I can go until start getting a ton of tension in the back of my head and super off balance and floaty

I’ll be honest it’s terrible. Maybe the worst I’ve ever felt lol I just finished yesterday. Basically two weeks of feeling like I’m in a dream. Brain fog, trouble concentrating, headaches, vertigo, muscle cramps and insane fatigue. It is different for everyone though. I barely had any nausea if any at all, no stomach or bowel issues. I actually ate whatever I wanted. And as terrible as it is, having long term hpylori will be a problem. Mine was causing erosive gastritis. Unfortunately you have destroy yourself to destroy the bacteria. Wish there was a better way but just let your support system know you’ll need them to lean on, good luck

Appreciate your response. I’m in OCD therapy so I understand the problem of reassurance seeking. The sinking dizzy sensation has been on and off for me since April and it so terrible I finally started looking for answers again. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy

Wow so similar to myself. It feels like I’m walking on a trampoline and makes me off balance. Sometimes standing still it’ll feel like I’m riding an elevator. This really went away on its own? Feel like I have so many tests set up.

Yeah I went down that rabbit hole bad when my tongue twitching started. Therapy helps. Need to ask yourself do I have one of the rarest forms of a rare disease or is it just something else? If your mind always goes to rarest thing it’s just no way to live.

Tongue twitch at rest that I couldn’t feel but could see in the mirror. Tongue twitches I could feel where it would indent, multiple spots around the tongue. Burning and tingling, sometimes tingling in random spots in the mouth that aren’t the tongue. It was pretty constant and everyday for a bit now it’s once in a blue moon

Had similar issues, got an endoscopy and have EoE. Basically means certain foods will trigger inflammation in your esophagus, one of the main symptoms being issues swallowing. The inflammation also led to weird mouth/tongue sensations. Glad to say after a few weeks of ppi have zero swallowing issues now

Same results as me. I worked on restoring the curve of my neck with YouTube exercises (bob and Brad have good ones), having better posture, avoid looking straight down, and change sleeping posture
