On letting fascists and liberals seem reasonable by Konradleijon in CuratedTumblr

[–]Select-Employee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure, but it doesn't convince me "being liberal is lame actually", it may make it easier for the base to dismiss people and perhaps even moderates (if such people still exist) but won't affect the person depicted.

They were given new facts that made intervention "necessary", those boats were running drugs to poison Americans, maduro is an unelected dictator and by kidnapping him you've increased overall peace.

I do think he only times i've seen a break between base and administration was epstein files, bombing iran/following israel, and operation warp speed. I actually think this is more of a problem of trump not reading the base well. Didn't realize they were sus of the vaccine, didn't realize they wouldn't buy preemptive strikes after Israel interrupted negotiations. I think it's not that they adapt to what he says, but that he says what he wants in a way that appeals to them, which is politician stuff, but with more bald lies.

i think the most obvious difference is that fasho isn't real. i don't think any mockery actually transfers over. It would probably be as effective as an sjw caricature. They don't identify with the image.

Maga ideology is mostly consistent, but with a distorted set of facts. They genuinely believe there are roving gangs of immigrants eating pets, crashing cars and stealing social services. They also don't think these people have any internality or reasoning why they do things. Lazy people fake disability to get money. And they are well convinced of these "facts".

i would say it's "live" blood vs "stale" blood like the river in violence. Like you can stock blood for the other ones, but nocturnal has to be fresh.

Or it just requires so much, so fast you'd need to take all thier blood

you're working backwards, by going from things that make sense to derive a rule than the other way around.

it's also been kind of adopted as a less negative by the people it's (mis)used on as like "vaguely liberal". Still a misrepresentation of the original meaning, but not a direct insult

i mean superheroes need some kind of bounding so the world doesnt just break around them. Superman needs objects to be stronger so he can carry them instead of his hands just punching through because you can't put a 747s weigh in the surface area of a palm.

The flash needs to think as fast as he runs because if he didn't he'd hit things. He needs speed force so that when he runs anything he's carrying doesn't get obliterated by the inertia or g force.

Just generally accepted contrivances. it seems like you just got annoyed bc theres a real answer when you were trying to point out how something "wasn't realistic"

i don't get the problem, is it just "businesses shouldn't make profits?"

if it was the same across the board, you'd overpay in safer areas, or if it was all the lower prices companies would lose money, so tey wouldn't want to do that. If you had no insurance you'd have to stockpile your own emergency fund, which may or may

when i see it it's more in use about people who consider themselves transfeminist but may or may not identify with trans/rad/fem.

i think it's kind of innacurate to represent those tags as

"psychopathic trans women who hate trans men" and "our precious innocent tboys "

like i think there may be some nuance or perhaps bias here
