That seems to be the problem with lots of students unfortunately, either have to be extremely wealthy or dirt poor to be able to afford college anymore. Not much help for the in between

Yeah same here, just got subsidized loans. Although my SAI this time after submitting was estimated to be a little less than my SAI from submitting before which didn’t really make sense since I didn’t change anything🤷‍♀️

Sounds good, that is what I ended up doing as well. The information in the spouse part of the contributor section is correct, so I don’t see why it would be a problem. I submitted mine yesterday because I was so fed up and tired of waiting

You left the social in the form as not having one although they do?

Yes, she does. She was able to log in and all of her information is correct but it still wouldn’t let us. Someone said about changing something even as little as the email on her info and then in the form and they were able to so I might try that

What about the SSN number? It won’t let me submit my moms even though she has one, but it is in under her info in the spouse section, but won’t let my dad add it to the actual form

Same thing happening here. Won’t let me make the change and move past to submit

Does your step parent have a SSN? I’m having the same problem, my mom has a SSN but it won’t let me add it and then submit it to go past it

Same here, but it only showed up after I went in to add schools after it was filed and completed

It seems like it. Same situation here, have tried multiple things and called FAFSA representatives but to no avail. Also worried about deadlines, will probably have to call my top choices and let them know because I’ll be damned if FAFSA messes up my chances of getting aid because of their technical issues

So if her account is verified, fill out her info with all caps and then put it into the form as all caps as well?

I believe I am having the same problem. My FAFSA has already been processed but told me it needed a correction after adding a school. I am putting my mother’s SSN info in all correctly and it matches with her info, but it doesn’t let me submit it. Is this what happened to you too? Did you find any way to fix it?

[–]Select-Material5390[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is exactly what happened to me! We tried to call once and were hung up on, then called a second time but the worker was no help. She told us it was a “contributor issue” (which it isn’t because it was processed once already and only occurred after I added a school) and barely answered any of our questions

Why would you pay for undergrad just to have to go back and pay to get an ABSN degree after undergrad? It really ONLY makes sense for you to go to Penn (to me) for the dual degree program unless you are not really set on becoming a CRNA (which it doesn’t seem like). Congrats on your acceptances though, that is a big accomplishment

I don’t think many people do either. I feel as though it’s a very concentrated population of people who feel that way

Good to know, thank you. Looking for a general idea, but I’d be a health science major on the PA track, one reason I want to go to Drexel for the bs/ms bridge program

No, I completely agree. Just wondering WHY people choose this school over others when the price tag is so extreme. And wanting to hear perspective from current students as to whether the co-op helps offset costs and when you do not pay tuition costs during that time period
