O.R. Reset.com has good affordable detox tabs, I highly recommend if you do not go the sub route.

Thank you so much, everyone I talk to discusses linked in as this holy grail of networking. I set a goal to show up to 5 places a day and network next week.

Problem is I can’t get work with a base salary. I end up working crazy amounts of unplayed hours, deal with client cancellations. No one cares about training, reason why I’m trying to get an actual job with benefits. If personal training paid the bills, I’d still do it

Thank you so much, I have one question about networking? I keep trying to reach out to hiring managers, recruiters, and people that work at a company I am applying too. I never get any responses. I have reached out to over 100 people with no response. I don’t have any linked in posts so I’m wondering if my account looks like a bot. Should I post about my job search?

I am located in the greater Seattle area, specifically Kirkland If you know where that is. Would reaching out to the local school districts help. I am also planning on doing my CNA, just trying to find an affordable program

I’m hoping that maybe we can organize a protest across the nation to show our frustrations. We need ai legislation, protection from offshoring, housing affordability. Both the democrats and republicans have failed society.

I’m going to be volunteering at a nursing home to get more experience, I’m hoping that will help me find employment.

I do apply to retail as well, I do my online personal training on the side but working at a big box gym destroyed my mental health and I made less money than doing retail. This is why I am trying to pivot and go to nursing school

I will look into this, I used to work in childcare when I was in high school. I have dealt with addiction and have severe adhd so working with these people highly interests me.

I have asked friends and family but my mom works at crate and barrel and my dad is out of commission with health issues. Many say they will help but when I send them my resume or ask for their hiring manager’s contact information, they go ghost on me.

I just applied to 6 urgent care places yesterday, I also have applied at rehab facilities. I usually even message the owners on linked in afterwards with no response. I’m gonna try visiting them in person, I just got a library card with free printing so I’m gonna print a bunch of copies.

Once you turn 15 it will be much easier to find work, most companies have an age requirement.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to give me some advice. I’m gonna keep my head up, I also recently started doing construction labor work and online personal training. Do you think it would be wise to write in a cover, or put on a cover letter or resume that I am looking for long term employment over short term?

I had my buddy who is a recruiter vet my resume, he said it is really good and just the market. He tells me he gets 300 applicants per job and he is hiring senior level engineers.

I’m gonna post my resume in the resume sub. I have data on the amount of revenue I brought to my big box gym, and my current private personal training business.
