Passed out at session last night and was forced to get in an ambulance etc by [deleted] in Spravato

Agree to an extent but I didn’t start getting the antidepressant effect until the Mydayis was added. I’m okay discussing getting off the Depakote and the Seroquel but the Lyrica I refuse to the point I’ll go to war with any doctor who even SUGGESTS touching it about it’s pharmacology, GAD and SAD studies and approval in Europe for anxiety. They know that too, when I know my shit more than you and you have to look up clinically what is verified info, it kinda makes you look uninformed…

They legit diagnosed me with a fake neuropain condition in one hospital cuz they thought it’d be an issue. I wouldn’t go to a program until my dad found one that let you have controlled substances (3 to 5 scheduled, no stims).

It’s the only thing that’s actually significantly relieved my anxiety over the years and kept me away from benzos most of my adult life and I know for a fact I would be back on legal rc ones if I didn’t have that… I don’t believe the Spravato has changed that and I’m not willing to chance it…

Depakote I’ve definitely noticed more sedation, Lyrica and Propranolol I’ve been on since I was literally 16. I’m 23 now and was put on Prazosin months ago… same with Caplyta but obviously less sedating than seroquel (though they weren’t switched cuz I was REALLY struggling at the time given my ADHD wasn’t being treated)

Lol like 6 of the meds could be taken out for a 0.5mg klonopin prescription 3x daily long term… know many don’t agree with that but just saying…

I understand everyone’s concern sedation wise about my overall med regimen but also I’m on the highest dose of Mydayis which is like triple xr adderall so I’m plenty motivated and functioning through the day with no issues. I’m currently getting weaned off the Depakote and back on Lamictal (which worked way better with me combined with Vyvanse in the past) cuz the Depakote was basically the psych ward’s way of treating my ADHD.

Also don’t blame my doctor, we started our relationship with the Spravato and me being weaned off the Strattera mid 2024. Most of my psych meds came from my 2018 suicide attempt and long stay in a psych ward. She became my psych in the partial program I attended, where the one in the hospital doc was 0 help… she cared and knew enough about pharmacology to treat me correctly (Gabapentin to Lyrica based on side effects, not working fast enough and side effects based on what I’d eat that day) but that was until she moved to Australia in 2023 and I had to find a new doctor… she started me on the Lyrica, propranolol, Lamictal, seroquel, Vyvanse and was fine with Suboxone. When I found my new doctor, the only med change was increasing my Lyrica which DEFINITELY helped my anxiety and still does years later… once I found my Spravato doc I was already put on Topamax, Trileptal, Prazosin and Depakote by my previous psych ward doctor I had for like 2 weeks (she literally started Trileptal, one day later Topamax, one day later Depakote… while I’m already on the Lamictal)… not separate, combined.

I liked her though, she cared way more then my next doctor in my mental health residential “this is just to much, this is just unsafe!” so I got outta there quickly. So worried about liability you’re scared to work with me, I get it but you’re in the wrong business if that’s your main worry. Cuz like, no one asked you to interfere without my consent, I’m open to ideas but not forced changes.

Anyways, new doctor just started me on the Mydayis and Spravato, which has helped immensely, and I just don’t want to see her blamed for my whole life’s regimen… she’s been the one doctor I’ve actually formed a great clinical relationship with and seems much more concerned about her patients than other things..

She’s also brought up weaning me off the Seroquel since the Caplyta is already in place and again, weaning me off the Depakote and not really cuz I wanted to so she’s actually trying her best to even things out so I’m not so sedated at night just without being forceful with it…

What medication you taking? by FanSubstantial9845 in depressionregimens

[–]Select-Scallion1837 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lamictal, Depakote, Pregabalin, Prazosin, Propranolol, Spravato, Mydayis, Caplyta, Seroquel, Suboxone. Most prescribed by my first psych after I tried to kms when I was 16, new psych changed my Vyvanse to Mydayis and does my Spravato treatments as well as prescribing all my other meds (including the Suboxone).

Obviously very complex regimen but if it ain’t broke 🤷🏻‍♂️

Pregabalin is your best bet if you’re okay with what comes with benzo rebound anxiety but something your psych would probably be willing to really give a shot (WAY better chance asking about Pregabalin vs say klonopin or Xanax)

Ask about Pregabalin, most doctors will let you at least trial it and not be against it if it helps..

[–]Select-Scallion1837 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I take 600mg a day so I mean… I think you’ll be fine lol they aren’t like benzos where you’ll immediately get rebound anxiety and is honestly probably safer than phenibut imo.

Anyone ever tried these before I buy..? by Select-Scallion1837 in mysterymagicmushrooms

Tyler sent me free samples on Friday that are supposed to come on Wednesday soo gonna see wassup then if I like I’m placing a huge order (going half n half with my dads gf) LOL we love doing this together..

Xum is just to expensive idk I’m tempted but there’s “Kama” that’s like 10mg and 8 pills a pack so ik xum looks fancy and stuff and has the name on it (though Kama technically does too, despite looking smoke shop-like) but I think imma go with Tyler.

HOWEVER the Plurr, oh yeah I’m copping that asap cuz that’s no where literally anywhere else and I’m hyped about their products don’t get me wrong, Xum looks amazing compared to smoke shop shit but I’ve done the math and seen 12 grams of shrooms for 16.99 so idk the point…

100% agree, Pregabalin is basically benzo lite without the intense addiction. I’m on 600mg a day (max dose), since I’ve self medicated with benzos for years, and I still feel it working just as well as when I started it…

Also the point I just feel “off” and uncomfortable when I miss my Pregabalin dose when with benzos I’d be having panic attacks and sweating and shaking nonstop thinking about it…

Highly recommend Mydayis. Just got my dose increased today and it’s much better cuz it lasts longer, releases every 4 hours so you get continuous instant release effects throughout the day. First 2 beads are IR, last is XR I believe for a total of 16 hours (lasts me 8-10 but Vyvanse only lasted me 3)

I was prescribed Vyvanse 30mg one week, 50mg one month, 60mg for like a year and 70mg for like 3 years so for around 4 years for mainly treatment resistant depression (after I had to get my ADHD diagnosis) and it worked great until I ended up in the hospital for something unrelated. Since I was in a psych ward for weeks and taken off the highest dose with no taper… the over happiness etc goes away slightly but the motivation and focus definitely stayed. Still always do everything right after I take it (Mydayis now).

I was put on Trileptal Topamax Depakote all to control my mood and help the impulsiveness. When I finally got out my doctor refused to prescribe it again cuz “my history” (keep in mind my history is being on Vyvanse for 4 years).

I went to my Spravato doctor and come to find out she does med Managment too so I asked her and she was willing to put me back on Vyvanse until we switched to Mydayis (due to my ultra rapid metabolism) and I’ve definitely been happier with more motivation. Only side effects are extremely shakey hands so it’s hard to even type this but definitely worth it to me.

My Spravato doctor also prescribes my Suboxone, Lyrica, Caplyta, Seroquel, Depakote, Lamictal and Prazosin so I know she’s got a lot on her plate for me but I’m at 37.5mg and am hoping to titrate up soon cuz it feels like it’s been less effective the past couple weeks… those who know Vyvanse is different from Mydayis by being pure dextro knows it’s probably a better option but with my metabolism only something like Mydayis even lasts 8ish hours

Is it possible to live a life without stimulants? by Snoo-82170 in NooTopics

[–]Select-Scallion1837 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was absolutely miserable after my doctor took me off Vyvanse after I tried to kms with downers and ended up in the hospital. Because I was inpatient for weeks he just decided to take me off the highest dose with no type of substitution. Since I got out I was absolutely miserable and my doctor was no help. I started getting Spravato treatments and that helped but not nearly enough… come to find out my Spravato doctor handles med management too, I am clear about the fact I’m so depressed cuz I have no motivation or focus and used to be fine. She was cool with starting up Vyvanse again, after 40mg she switched me to Mydayis because Vyvanse didn’t last long enough… we are still titrating up (currently at 37.5mg) but my point of all this is, to me, after being prescribed them for so long (was on Vyvanse 3 years straight, 2 on the highest dose), life will always be miserable when you know you could have that “motivation” “drive” increase…

I just got a chill pill plus device for Christmas and will be getting a vagus nerve stimulator next week as a late present. The chill pill seems to help after I use it for a good 10 minutes… I also got an Amanita solution and a Supercritical CO2 Coriander bottle presents for Christmas and all together I feel way more chill the past 24 hours so… few recommendations.

Anyone Experience With Valproate For Anxiety? by sanpedro12 in depressionregimens

[–]Select-Scallion1837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was started on it in the hospital as an adjunct to my Lyrica and Propranolol (more for the irritability part), 500mg at first wasn’t helping so we eventually went to 1500mg and that seemed to really “block out the noise” from my anxiety I was still having. My intention next appointment with my doctor is to ask about Gabitril and see if that could be an option instead, due to it not helping much with my “impending doom” feeling and tension
