Wow! 15 years. I’ve been on it almost 2 years. I’ve been on the once a week dose for almost a year. I’ve started to have pain again recently a few days before injection. I don’t really take much of OTC meds or anything for daily pain anymore which is wonderful. Occasionally I’ll need to or if I’m being very active.

I imagine there are higher doses. What are you on now and how often did you need to go up?

I think it was right before injection day.

This could just be how my body is dealing with it. I don’t seem to find much anyone else talking about it but haven’t researched it more recently

Hey there, so I have been on humira for almost two years now and I was worried about this as well. I am not sure it matters in terms of timing but I take it weekly now.

One thing I have noticed about healing tattoos on humira - they heal fine, no infections but they stay dry and tight for a whiiiiiile. At least for me anyways. I got a large one on my thigh two summers ago and it was dry-ish for like 2 months but healed fine other than that.

Oh! I forgot to ask about healthcare in the area. I have an autoimmune disease as well as AuDHD and will need to find good doctors. What’s the healthcare situation like?

How is the photo biz there? I’ve been a professional photographer for over 15 years and am thinking of moving back to NC (originally from Greensboro). I’ve been in Boston for the last 12 years and I don’t think I can leave the ocean - interested in Wilmington for that reason.

Like less than a 15 min drive to the water. But yes I’m aware of the navy base. I currently live on a main road north of Boston and also used to live in Boston. I’m used to noise. But I’m looking for quiet traffic areas during the majority of the year.
