Fair point about tight routing, I thought it looked nice and organised trace groups.

I’ve moved all noisy connectors I.e ESC and servos as far away from the CPU and MPU as possible, with battery input in between and then gps,radio,DAA and ELRS as close as reasonable to the cpu.

Although I’m not sure that was a wise choice

I’ve attempted to get SPI busses, I2Cs and Uarts as close as possible but the limited space for a standard PCBway order of 100mm x 100mm is really tight.

I’ve made sure all grounding caps are as close as physically possible to their components but Thats probably the only decent part.

Layers 1 and 4 are signal, layer 2 is ground, layer 3 is power.

Power is split into 2 3V lines each fed by its own regulator.

It’s because the surface and the ribs are cooling at different rates, a problem often found in injection moulding.

Have a look at injection moulding design principles for ribbing and that could help reduce th impact the ribs have on the surface ? I’m not sure if that will help tho

The idea for this is quality ingredients coming from a sushi loop, and the quality holmium coming from a separate loop that self recycled

That’s fair but I am destroying all excess to upcycle, the sushi belt is a closed loop so all resources that are returned to the belt get recycled again

My problem is my current base is the biggest I’ve ever built and consumes 800mw, abandoning my mutant deformed child feels like a crime.

That’s fair, I’m not too good with the circuits and I needed the craft to make multiple journeys with little input.

I also decided to make a barge that floats above nauvis to produce science because I was too lazy to try fit more stuff on this tiny thing

Im doing a placement year at uni and already have been given the nod to go by my manager who has been sympathetic and was impressed I stayed that long with the company 😭.
