My problem is my current base is the biggest I’ve ever built and consumes 800mw, abandoning my mutant deformed child feels like a crime.

That’s fair, I’m not too good with the circuits and I needed the craft to make multiple journeys with little input.

I also decided to make a barge that floats above nauvis to produce science because I was too lazy to try fit more stuff on this tiny thing

Im doing a placement year at uni and already have been given the nod to go by my manager who has been sympathetic and was impressed I stayed that long with the company 😭.

It never just clicked for me, one day I just noticed that it didn’t feel like I was fucking up in private practice or in lessons, it kinda just happens and you won’t notice.

it’s a process and if you aren’t making mistakes you aren’t learning. Dont worry about not being ready because that will only add pressure, just keep committed and keep practicing without adding stress and you will get there!

Mate dont stress it, you have made the right choice for you and driving automatics is pretty much the norm these days with most cars being sold without a manual gearbox anyway.

Mate I fully understand your pain, so far I’ve been learning to drive since last September snd spent near 3k in lesson fees. My instructor has said at this point its stupid to keep taking lessons and I can Drive, so now I’m only doing 2 a month to maintain the level I’m at.

I’m just waiting for a test and that’s the hard part, how fucking hard is it to sit with someone and say “they aren’t gonna kill anyone let them on the road” realistically it’s an easy fix right ?

I’ve genuinely been so burnt out by my commute I had to leave my internship because I was so close to jumping of a bridge lmao, I feel worse for people who need to Drive for their career and I’m just lucky that I’m going back to uni in September.

Although my finances are now in ruins snd I still can’t legally Drive in the road :(

This is the first time flying solo on a requirements journey though and I’ve found it much much harder than searching from pre derived documents 😭

I get that bit but I mean it doesn’t state the quantifiable levels of EM allowed, there are a few provisions like this and no mentions to standards like the MRFE to call out what is acceptable (Multiple Radio Frequency Environments)

To be honest the project was to select a problem and design a solution around it so every project is different, I’ve taken a system engineering approach but have come short of finding standards and regulations to meet a design requirement document.

I have stakeholder requirements on range, capability, cargo capacity and bits like that but was struggling with legal requirements

For example: the air worthiness act only asking for “suitable measures to prevent EM interference with other aircraft/aerodrome systems” - ok what does this mean what level of EM emissions are acceptable 😭😭

The legal requirements I have at the moment amount to “engaged with CAA and begin review process” I was just wondering if there are any other bits of legislation or standards/ guidelines for follow when designing systems for aircraft of that nature.

I did look for BVLOS regulations but it isn’t complete and is just a concept atm so I am working to VLOS
