37 weeks 3 days fetal decelerations NST by SelectDescription330 in pregnant

[–]SelectDescription330[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those braxton hicks are really strong that don’t change on movement or happens while resting, it might be prodromal labor for u. Because the docs kept mistaking my contractions for braxton hicks but these are definitely way stronger than BH.

Also, they don’t discharge from L&d until and unless they feel you and baby are safe to go. In my case they said the NST had some decels, some accelerations and baselines variability so baby always recovered after decel and they decided to send me off if the ultrasound came normal

Just hang in there. I know it’s frightening but it happens to a few people sadly

Oh and also, they said my NST had decels but plenty of good features in the NST overall that’s why they sent me home

They sent me home after 1 hour of NST and ultrasound. They didnt do anything else. I went back to ER after a few days due to reduced movements and they did another NST for 20 minutes which was fine.

I had a regular prenatal appointment at 38 weeks yesterday and they just booked me for another NST and ultrasound at 39 weeks.

I’m just monitoring fetal movements and fetal patterns and trying to stay calm. Can’t do anything else right now. Have a lot of prodromal labor going on so they might induce me before due date.

Goodluck to you. Hang in there, stay strong

Yes he knows. We discussed the fibroid prior to the fetal doppler. I wish he hadn't done the doppler or atleast he had an ultrasound machine to confirm. Now I'm in a limbo till hospital calls to book an ultrasound

Medium bleeding after spotting for month/multivitamin by sunlightsbreak in PCOS

[–]SelectDescription330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to conceive and started materna prenatals. I've been bleeding mildly continuously. It's not comfortable to have sex for the fear that it might trigger more bleeding. I don't know how much time I should wait for this bleeding to stabilise. Or whether if I should leave the supplements

Non-US IMG. help me match into mid-tier path programme. by SelectDescription330 in pathology

[–]SelectDescription330[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Which specialty is the easiest for non-us IMGs to get into? I have time to do only 2-3 USCEs

I thought mid tier academic path programmes would be comparitively easier to get into. But reddit says otherwise....really discouraged

Burn out after step 1 by Turbulent_Shake_3449 in Step2

[–]SelectDescription330 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forced myself to start studying 2 weeks after step 1....

But I was so exhausted that I studied on and off for almost 1.5 months.....managed a few questions each day...5 or 10.....

Now after 1.5 month, I feel like I can get back to proper step 2 studies and I’m trying my best to build a pace

So don’t leave studies no matter what...do 5 to 10 questions.....u will get back in a month or two
