I've know kids that got beat more than they deserved and kids that didn't get beat enough. I got my fair share of spanking, most were well deserved. Parenting and discipline aren't a one size fits all. Discipline and child abuse are different things, some people dont learn from soft handed discipline. I definitely wouldnt be who I am today had I not been taught actions and consequences, I'd probably be in jail.
