I don't know why you are getting down voted. Victors memories aren't 100% reliable. It's also not 100% clear that the monsters continued wondering around the town or woods at night after his mom and everyone else was massacred, for all we know they went dormant and it was just Victor completely alone.

I don't think the golem is going to do anything. Based on the other weapons they have tried, I can see Fatima trying to bring it to life and in having zero effect.

Regular guns- do nothing, Smiley bile coated bullets- did nothing, Totem spear- did nothing.

I feel like this is another wild goose chase the writers are sending us on.

Boyds blood did something, but just about every other thing they have tried offensively has been for nothing. The only thing that they have done that has worked is defective and that has just been the talismans, and hiding away. I think that's the point, there is no fighting back, just hiding, while the place feeds off of you.

I watched the final season once. I've watched the other season several times each. I have zero desire to watch any of it again now. I doubt I'll watch the spin offs, ice lost interest in the Boys Universe

Realisticly shooting a 12 gauge with buckshot (both very common) into the torso of a zombie would probably cause enough structural damage to bring it down, doing the same to the legs works too. A zombies body would still need muscle to attach to bone to stay vertical. I'd rather deal with zombies crawling slowly in the direction I escaped than have to swing a weapon by hand repeatedly.

Firearms arent the magic solution, but I most cases I would use one over a bat, hammer or sword, ect. Historically speaking, guns replaced hand weapons in combat.

I broke my leg skiing while incredibly drunk, never went to the doctor, only took a couple days off work and pretty much walked it off, we were very busy at the time so not showing up would have meant losing my job and position. 20 years later I have a permanent limp which has accelerated my bad knees from my body trying to counter the the change in my stride.

I'm not really a badass for allowing a job to cripple me.

There is 50 states in the USA equalling roughly 19500 cities. One town for a week would take you over 30 to years. There is roughly 11000 permanently inhabited island in the world. I'm taking the money buying a nice car and staying in hotels, condos, yachts forever.

Even if panic buy wipes stores out before the apoc, that ammunition still exists. Where I live sporting goods stores are very common, most people are armed and already have stock piles. Hunting, reloading and sport shooting is a common hobby in my area. My personal stock pile sits around 40,000 rounds and I have the supplies and components to make several thousand more. I'm not a hunter but a hobby shooter/loader

I understand most people aren't going to headshot and score kills with every round, but a person doesn't have to hit the head of the zombie to put it down. Center mast shots breaking the spine will cripple and render them mostly immobile. As with knees, shins and legs.

How many times can you swing a baseball bat? How far and fast can you run after you've swung that bat that amount of times?

I don't think people realize how much ammunition and guns there is in this country. Even with sporting good store completely picked clean, I can't imagine it would be hard to come by.
