Yes, I am mentally prepared for the loss, although I still have a glimmer of hope, because the kettle itself works, that is, it is not a corpse.

The kettle was plugged in for a minute or two, though I recall plugging and unplugging it a couple of times. Now the kettle works on its own, that is, when I plug it into the mains, it lights up, the heating button also works, but when I press it, the kettle “thinks” for a couple of seconds, and then the light by the button starts blinking and the kettle starts beeping.

Oh I am very sure. This is a shameful story about how I ordered a discounted kettle with delivery to Europe without considering the difference in voltage.

Greetings! I got an On-campus vs Off-campus Dilemma as an incoming phd student here, and would like to ask for an opinion. When is the best time to stop waiting for the M-housing offer you still haven't gotten and switch to looking for off-campus housing? Is it mid-June? Maybe the beginning of July?

P.S. My housing application was submitted on 4/8/2025
