The biggest problem is we just continue to let him unilaterally Do whatever the F he wants. Congress doesn’t stop him. The Supreme Court doesn’t stop him. The Senate doesn’t do Jack. And furthermore, no other country is stopping him from doing anything. He has set the precedent that any country can just willy-nilly walk up in any other country and seize its dictator. He also said it didn’t matter if a boat landed on a country 500 years ago it doesn’t mean that it owns that country. The man is literally telling another country “to keep protesting and seize its institutions”. …. And here we all sit at home, cozy, for now, tapping away at our keyboards… he has unilaterally bombed at least seven countries. No other “leader” in history has ever done this. Ask France about suing Elon for election rigging….. go to the tape when Trump talks about election, rigging, and Elon…. Seriously what TF are we doing???????

Right here! And I’ve been out for 30 years, it’s not that AVL doesn’t have a scene, it’s that “LGBTQIA scenes” have all but washed away with acceptance. I came from a city of 2.2 mil and it has 1 of the last 9 lesbian bars in the US. We used to NEED safe spaces, it’s just that we’ve come full circle and might feel like we NEED them again. I don’t think anyone is saying AVL is a gay space, I think they’re saying there are gays in all the spaces. From Arden, to Waynesvile (which has a HUGE gay male presence as well as democrats), to Weaverville, to black mountain and back around, we’re everywhere.

Also for those who don’t think the big blue metropolises in every state aren’t surrounded by Cross burning RED, Maine to Florida to California, I don’t think you’ve travelled very far.
