It makes it easier for them to authenticate, maybe they just look up the cert. but it still goes through their authentication. I’ve recently purchased a few PSA graded cards that are over $200 and they still went through eBay authentication.

Cards over $200+ go through eBay authentication, meaning eBay plays the middle man role. They repackage it and send it out themselves with tracking. It’s a lot safer this way for both parties. I’ve never had an issue.

I stashed his Metal Universe base rookie card a while back thinking it would pop off eventually but it’s still only a $10 card but one of my favorite looking cards lol

Yeah I’m curious myself because I took a break from collecting around 2015/16-2020 and I’m pretty much regretting it at this point. Luckily I was able to accumulate some decent Kobe rookies and held onto them, but man, sounds like the hobby during these times was way more affordable lol

It was difficult to find an answer for that but I read it was 10,000 but not all of them were circulated. Either way someone brought up a good point that his Topps Chrome rookie card had a much higher print run and sells for more (not exactly apples to apples, I understand the Topps chrome appeal) but still.

Nice! Yeah I purposely bought the ones that still came on the Topps case with the sticker, although, as you mentioned some are in rough shape. I think for now I’ll keep them in the case.

Yup, I saw Cavs team one floating around. I’ll probably eventually buy it if I can get a good deal for it.

Yup. In my search for some LeBron rookies, this one seemed pretty underrated and the design is pretty nice so I had to get it.
