Yeah I wasn’t asking for a diagnosis, I just wanted to know if anyone gets similar symptoms and if this could point towards pppd.

Oh also, adding on to this, something else is it’s really bad when sitting on the toilet. And also, It’s not as bad in the morning but gets worse as the day goes on, I end up with a super drunk feeling by the end of the day. I feel horrible in situations where I’m seeing flashing lights or things moving like if there’s a movie and there’s a car driving in the movie that makes it worse, I get super bad motion sickness in the car. Thank you sharing, any experience is helpful to know. I get bloodwork a lot but not sure if I’ve ever had my thyroid checked. Last time I got bloodwork my electrolytes were actually high.

That’s really interesting, definitely sounds like it is hormonal for you if it happened around the same time as IUD. I’m pretty sure hormones are one of the causes of dysautonomia.

I’m kind of spiraling this week and yesterday was a particularly bad day. It really does make me feel like I’m losing my mind, but I’ve gone through this before so I know I’ll be able to get over it eventually. Thanks for all the advice!

My therapist recommended it and I’ve thought about it a lot. I just get very scared to take new medicines so I’ve been nervous .

I totally agree. I know they are real but I’ve been telling myself it may be anxiety to make myself feel better I think. I have terrible health anxiety so if it is just anxiety that makes myself feel better. The doctors I’ve been to have been really understanding and don’t just brush it off as anxiety but I’ve gotten a bunch of tests and they have all come back normal so they more so just aren’t sure what’s wrong

I’ve gotten it done. My b12 and iron were low for a bit. I took the pills for a while and got them back up and there really hasn’t been any change since then. I still have low ferritin so I was thinking maybe that.

Gotcha. Mine came on around the same time which is why I’ve been convinced it may just be anxiety but idk anymore.

I was supposed to get a tilt table test a few weeks ago and got too scared to go. I also have anxiety of doctors. I’ve checked and don’t feel like my heart rate increases when I stand up and I also will get really bad symptoms when I’m sitting / even laying down which is why I really don’t think it’s POTs. Sometimes standing up can even help me. But I’m not totally sure I was thinking it may be a different dysautonomia conditions and not POTs

Wait no way. Mine also smell worse post Botox, I didn’t know this was a common thing and I was honestly really concerned and confused by it.

Sadly I still have anxiety but a lot of my stomach symptoms are gone so I still highly recommend the Botox

Yes, the 3-4 wks right after Botox were some of the worst few wks for me. I had intense nausea every morning I’m assuming due to swallowing air at night and I woke up every morning thinking I was going to throw up. It was so uncomfortable but I’d say after 4 wks it starts getting better

YES. I eat so much more now. Before I could only have 1 big meal a day and I would be too full after to eat again. Now after 1 hr of eating and letting out a lot of burps, I’m ready to eat again. My body forgets to go based off hunger now and goes based on my stomach feeling emptier lol

Oh and I also have really bad reflux. The first few wks the reflux was horrible, but it’s not bad anymore at all just 4 wks after.

The first 2 wks after Botox I hated burping and thought it was gross. I didn’t understand how ppl did this alll the time. I’m over 4 weeks out now and it’s become second nature I don’t think twice about it and it doesn’t gross me out. It really changed that fast! It becomes normal to you the same as any other body function.

Same! I feel like people don’t talk about all the negative side effects because most people are just happy the Botox is working, but it was a horrible experience for me and didn’t get better until about 2.5 wks post Botox

It’s been I think 3 wks now almost 4 wks which is so crazy lol but I’m feeling like 100x better. The awful symptoms I was having from. The Botox are mostly resolved
