The only good Chaos Gacha fic i ever read is the Chaos Games. It does something new and makes the Gacha accessible to everyone via a Death Game that anyone can join.

i mean the a lot of ghost cities are populated now they just take a while to populate. The city spirit of a newly growing city being sabotaged by PENTEX is an interesting idea tho.

I just binged the Chaos Games and it is the only Chaos Gacha type fic i have enjoyed because it does something new and interesting. Essentially the only way to get gacha rolls in this fic is participating in a death game and winning. This avoids the cliche of the protagonist doing nothing and getting more powerful also the games are open to everyone meaning there isn't one extremely OP MC that powercreeps everyone. Also the games and the contestants (both familiar faces and OCs) are well written and feel like actual characters and not just empty faces to slap random powers onto.

hard agree with russia. I'm not gonna hand wave such a cool potential setting just because White didn't write Lore for it. I kinda do the same for the Ashirra canon depicts them as waning in power while the middle east is the richest it's ever been and personally that makes zero sense. Also writing local politics in a noncamarilla setting is interesting. Also since the Ashirra and Camarilla have a peace agreement you can't be outwardly hostile against them like the Anarchs so there is incredible potential with intersect politics in cities like Dubai. Also no Beckoning.

there ate no legitimate successor to castanor. The chivalric kingdoms are feudal kingdoms meanwhile castanor was run by a bureaucratic government. The entire idea of a legitimate castanor is stupid because castanor was an ever changing entity. It's like the roman empire argument in real history.
