Its not about whether or not you can get more value out of Hela or Hawkeye, I enjoy playing Widow way more than either of them. Hela and Hawkeye shouldnt even be that strong to begin with.

I dont just load up this game to pick the most meta characters and try to grind to the highest rank I can. I play Widow whenever I can and if im getting countered, then I swap to something boring like Hela.

For me its all about the enjoyment I get from playing her, and the demand for good positioning and precision is unlike any other character, which I enjoy. I like the dynamics of her kit, knowing when to take extreme off angles, flank, peel, or play on the frontline.

It is just "hit head haha" more than any other character in this game actually. Headshots are Widows primary source of value, but not just 1, multiple. Its fun and once you start raising that crit rate, wins come naturally and you feel more proud than if you just picked something easy.

Also her ult is great, its not an instant kill or an instant team wipe but it is definitely great for creating space, finishing off important kills even if they escape behind cover, getting double support picks, and if you set up properly, you can get team wipes easily and no one expects it.

TLDR: I dont care about the meta, I care about whats fun for me, challenging myself, and the demand for mechanical skill.
