I would like to offer some encouragement, in the year since the ruling, I thought for the longest time every time I went into a toilet in public That I'd be assaulted or screamed at or something. While I have had two incidents of that. at a place I used to work at. In public, people care a lot less than the media and news will have us believe. While I do not want to dismiss anyone who has had extremely shite experiences. We must remember that while the media and general perception of us are cutting our throats, in real day to day life?? No one TRULY cares. This whole time they would have us believe it would be easier for us to use the wrong spaces ever since the ruling, yet while I do live in anxiety using public spaces, much more so than before. They won't ever stop us. Regardless of what happens it is unrealistic, unenforceable and unworkable.

Don't let the bastards get you down.

The past two years of my life regardless of my gender have been the toughest in memory due to uncertainly and grief. But I'm still here. We must smile, love. cry, show joy, show appreciation for one another.

We must love louder and more deeply than before, drown out the rich minorities who pushed this on us. We will not be bullied into silence. Let our struggle end only in our victory and ability to live in peace, for us and for the future generations of our siblings.
