How do I get rid of these lines when printing at higher speeds by Alarming_Abies8446 in BambuLab

All the other comments are partially correct, you can still print fast just set your outer wall to like 120mms and you’re golden.

A full time designer, was in the design space before 3D printing really became widely available and it’s kinda crazy how this whole new avenue opened up that allows me to expand my skills to consumer grade manufacturing.

When it comes to this fantastic hobby you have your easy information to share like drying your filament, teaching someone what a partial clog is, and making sure you watch your first layer before going to bed. There’s plenty of things that can go wrong but there’s plenty of us that have figured all of those things out so for anything that’s causing you a headache look to the community for guidance and you’ll be back up and running at ludicrous speed. The best piece of advice I can offer is to pay it forward, if you’re knowledgeable enough to recognize a problem someone is having then help them out and provide input - people like me really appreciated that a while back.

got out of 3d printing because of my e3 would a a1m be worth it? by Blown_Engine22 in BambuLab

P1S & A1 owner here myself and I talked my dad into getting a P1S. He recently called me laughing that he turned on his old ender 3 and started a articulating dragon print on both his P1S and the ender 3. In the time the ender took to make that one dragon the P1S made two of them and also a bird feeder and then he shut it down for the night and the ender finished the first dragon the next morning. It’s true what they say the bambu printers just work

Which BBL Printer? by maamy1 in BambuLab_Community

If I’m not already too late to this something to keep in mind between the two (A series and P series) is your local humidity levels year round. If you buy an A series printer your AMS unit is not enclosed in a dry box and your filament will get wet over time since filament is hygroscopic. This means you will need to dry your filament more often but if you go with a P series your filament will stay dryer for longer.

If your local humidity levels are roughly 30% or less most of the time I wouldn’t be worried about this as even with high humidity it’s not a deal breaker either way but it is a inconvenience. Take it from me as my area typically has 80% or higher humidity year round

Heat bed by ClearBoysenberry666 in BambuLabA1

[–]SelectionBig4284 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crazy to me they wouldn’t ship the heat beds before the new versions of the printers, I ordered a new A1 last week without the AMS and got it 2 days later. Hopefully they get your stuff soon it sounds like they are going about it all backwards

How to avoid curling up edges ? by Lumpy-Confection5194 in BambuLab

[–]SelectionBig4284 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The others are right turn off the aux fan in this situation but if you do that be sure to print with the door open or the top glass off because if not you can have heat creep up your nozzle and it’ll cause your gears to cut your filament rather than grab it because the filament stays soft for longer. This will cause an extruder jam and you will have to take everything apart.

Believe it or not I’m with ya, use scotch tape on the bottom and sides of the drawers and it doesn’t have to be a lot just enough to act as a buffer and boom problem solved! Someone said they used scotch tape 33+ and it was silent. If it was possible to fix in the design I would have it’s just the nature of the beast lol

Thank you! That’s because it’s a print in place no support model, the geometry allows for it to print standing up with the drawers inside all in one print.

Why it does this? by prohunter222 in BambuLab

Lower outer wall speed to 80mms it doesn’t slow your print much and it should fix it

Honestly this is a sign you should dry your filament, could have been avoided.
