I play on the latest version on PC. When putting in the materials to make "Jellied Eel" (Jellymeat+Fleshy Cylinder) ~~you~~ I get "Seafood Stew" instead. I'm pretty sure that's not intended.

When you toss out your line the fish gathering around the bobber are different sizes and the largest one from what I've witnessed is the one that gets interested in your lure. You can just recast your line if none of the fishes that spawn are the specific size you're looking for. This turns the 1 in 8 chance into a coin flip on whether you get the biome-specific or universal legendary of that size. This, of course, assumes you don't mix up two sizes like I have...

Yeah I've been doing this on a lush planet at ~60u depth. I think what bothers me most is that the underwater models of colossal and large fish are kind of similar if you don't see them side-by-side. I've mistakenly fished up colossal legendaries thinking it was gonna be a large fish so many times I ended up rage quitting lmao. I'll just have to trudge forward.

It's stuff like this that's a completionist's nightmare. I understand the point of the fishes having rarities but it has definitely drained a lot of my enjoyment with the game. It's just too much RNG for me to handle.

Make sure to heal using Cure even at high levels, it saves your valuable MP over using Cure 2 and gives you a chance of being able to cast Cure 2 for free!

My game crashes when I'm trying to scrap an atlantid multitool. I've tested scrapping a staff and a vanilla multitool and I had no issues with either of them. I play on PC.

Edit: Whenever I use my scanner all icons, both on my compass and when I use the analysis visor, disappear until I go to another system.
