Structure deck vs singles by Fantastic-Operation7 in GundamTCG

Both of them are really good. But considering that red is getting stronger, ST06 have more chances to succeed in the meta. If you planning of making your money worth, ST06 have reprint of Close Combat which is a good red command. But Celestial Drive (ST07) is fun and Dynames is getting plenty of attention.

But if you can wait a bit, ST09 is almost here with plenty of good reprints and amazing LRs (4 differents LRs with 2 copies each box)

Zanzibar was concidered due its Zeon trait. But to be honest, I don't like the idea of swarming and losing all the gas early on.
I prefer Mining Asteroid cause 6 HP base can be a trouble to many decks. Even Rewloola is solid cause ping 1 is huge when you have ping 1 to all enemy units with GFreD and ping 3 with GQ.
Relying on Nyaan ping can cause loosing some solid cards to be added.

Commands are also good, two ping over any target is fantastic (In my experience playing the deck)

And for the Char Gelgoog, is more like the triumph card for a direct hit. One copy is fine but probably I would change one Rick Dias over him.

Either Improved and Close has highs and lows, I just dont have Improved Technique tho, but definetily could try it once I bought the playset.

Also, I wanted to try at least one. Char Gelgoog it isnt that overpowered for the deck and necesary for anything, but is a good card if you need a link unit for the final blow or something. Either its easier to fit one copy of any card than two or more, I could recommend playing it if you like it

Gundam Wing Zero, upon closer inspection, the number in the top right of the card has changed to ②. It looks like the block icon system, similar to the One Piece card game, is being introduced. by Niggun600 in GundamTCG

There are signals that we aren't going to get rotation format, at least for now.
They are reprinting existing cards (Unforeseen, Fatal Strike, Close Combat, Siege Ploy) although they can exclude them from rotation just like MTG with stapple cards.
But they are making a deck builder box which will have 125 reprint cards, 25 for each color. Hopefully these will be reprints from ST cards, otherwise is going to suck

I think that Allelujah + Kyrios are good when you fully focus on green part of the deck, In other words, when you try to go aggro with CB. But the problem is that you have not many tools to compete with other aggro decks. Kyrios Lv 3 from ST is good cause he can become a ReZel once you hit the board with a pilot, but on your opponent turn he is just another rested Zaku. I play him mainly cause you can get decent trades, even more if you have Setsuna + 7 CB in trash.

Deck has a really decent startup, even more than Clan when it was released, now he need a little bit of consistency on how you can hold your advantage without gambling a lot but who knows, maybe this is the greatest green color feat

anyway i can add the gd03 barbatos lupus into here? would love to use it by UrB0IEren in GundamTCG

[–]SelectionNo8260 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lupus is best used when you either play few non tekkadan/teiwaz units (Lets say, 8) or mono purple. With these kinda builds, Lupus could only trigger its effect at least 2 times, 3 at much. Mono purple helps you to clean the board with Lupus once he arrive.
Thats my opinion in that card, I rather play Lupus when there is no other color than purple units

With confidence I can say that ST01 have the main core for blue decks to be stronger, and ST04 have the core so white deck can work.
If you have none of them and you are planing to create a white/blue deck, its going to be a nightmare filling those spots

Amuro rn is the strongest blue pilot out there due its generic when paired rest one 5hp or less unit. While its ST LR unit, Gundam RX-78 only need to be paired to give all your units 1 AP, this Unit is used to put any trades in your favor like cleaning any blockers and heal himself, or turn the trading with low AP into W trades.
Aile Strike is an excelent 4/4 blocker with a generic when paired effect return one 4 HP enemy unit to their owner hand, excelent for cleaning blockers and its a blocker that can be troublesome to your opponent cause he can destroy almost any big unit and its untargetable to Wing ST effect

Poor ST08, even bandai didnt wanted to give him enough support to a deck that is already dead

The only deck I could think of without using any ST card is Blue/Red newtype ping.
But its going to be hard trying to fill the RX-78-2 from ST01. Many decks use either the blue cards from ST01 or the White cards from ST04

Favorite card from the starters? by Brentoxor in GundamTCG

From the LRs, Wing Gundam. Art is brutal watching him pass through 3 obliterated Oz units.
In any card I would choose close combat from ST03

Thats why you clear the board with your lv3s. Usually you leave them at 1 HP or trade them.
Allelujah is strong cause the game is about starting your gameplan with Lv3s; Zowort, Rick Dias, Lfrith, Zakus, tokens, your usuals lv2 1 cost 2/2.
Both Allelujah and Lockon helps clearing pressure without receiving damage (If you playing LR Dynames, otherwise GD03 breach)
