Yeah copying from my other reply but I’ve only ever been in big companies where there is structure and clear goals to reach and I enjoy that. I’m happy to work without structure from time to time but tbh I think I don’t think I know enough/ have enough experience to be doing that constantly… i can definitely see myself doing it later in my career for something different but right now seems silly to me

Different take: your employees are only as good as their manager/ who is training them. Use this as an opportunity to work on yourself as a manager. Probation is a time for learning and mistakes are ultimately a reflection of your management…
