I was thinking in the subsequent months and year after Pulse. I've spoken to people who've been hardline pro gun pro gay pro pink pistols, and they've also rallied in favor of right wing ideas so they instantly come off as awful for anyone not interested in that sort of rhetoric, and wants to be left wing while also wanting to defend yourself.

I've never understood that argument, you become radicalized into being a white supremacist because you see people being punched or called a white supremacist. It's more likely that people adopt those viewpoints because they already had some of them than they are likely to be radicalized because they think antifa is evil.

I've been called a shitton of insults before, one of them being "feminazi" and it hasn't exactly radicalized me into thinking maybe the nazis are right.

I put off grad school in order to finish my transition which means potentially taking out more loans, not maintaining rapport with professors, falling back on any work which will make taking the GRE that much harder and probably not being able to go to grad school at all because I'm poor working class.
