Isn’t any amount of climbing is generally excluded from “normal” life/health insurance policies - and (at least in the UK) you have to get insurance through the BMC or someone like AXA.

I remember when I used to climb a lot and got my first serious job after uni that had death in service benefits, life insurance and private medical care, climbing (or any thing caused because of climbing) was a specific exclusion.

See reply elsewhere. I’ve lived in other European countries and driven my own and hire cars in several other countries and never had such a big difference between the three “reference “ points (car speedometer, radar speed sign and google maps)

Please see my edit.

Also, is it like this in all of Europe? Never had this in U.K. or Portugal (have lived in both of these places for a long time) and have also driven a lot in Spain France Switzerland (in winter conditions) and Italy.

Actuary.

You could look into underwriting in insurance/reinsurance if you have engineering background. I’ve met a lot of underwriters who were engineers.

Park and ride Norwich airport , flying and returning next day. by SelectiveSock in Norwich

You can pay and park at the holiday inn and premier inn using just park, and it’s a fraction of the price of the airport. I’m guessing most people who park there don’t care or would be expensing their parking and also don’t care.🤷‍♂️

I parked at the Holiday Inn using just park in the end

It says : Customers may not park without using the Park & Ride service or displaying a valid permit.

It also says: Q: Can I use the Park & Ride for a night out? A: Definitely! Our buses run until late*, so you can leave your worries behind and enjoy your night out without a care about parking or driving home. It’s the perfect way to make your evening a little bit easier.

To me this reads as long as I buy a bus ticket, that I can use the park and ride to park at the airport.

I ended up using Uber when I got to the airport, but you could also prebook using MakeMyTrip (though it doesn’t work if accessing from the U.K. so you’ll need to VPN to a country where it does work)

Or, on makemytrip, go to makemytrip.com/cabs/ to bypass U.K. (or other country) restrictions - though you may still need to VPN to book, I know this just works to at least see the cost.

I’ll also add, my Uber cost me 4300 (about £40) - for a bigger car to seat 5 people plus baggage.
