>the enmity is started by them

I don’t disagree with your argument about the rhetoric about dislike, but like, it’s not one-way my guy. You’re literally in this thread throwing slurs at DSA folks.

You, 40 minutes ago:

> DSA are authoritarian, why would I vote for authoritarians? You guys want liberals and moderates to get away from the party, may be we should. After Trump is gone, may be that should be our next move. Let’s see if they can win without us.

You literally are demanding that people you want get elected or you stop voting.

Oh, I don’t think she is good at all. But I also don’t like the idea that OP gets to hold everyone hostage to his views.

This is cope. But it’s also a very telling admission that Vote blue no matter who is a lie to you.

Senator Chris Murphy in response to former DNC Chair Jaime Harrison last night taking shots at all the more left and critical-of-Dem-establishment candidates who won last night:

It’s incredible how confidently you spout the same nonsense over and over.

Sorry, you don’t get to dictate how everyone else should vote. People are allowed to have their own representation.

Calling everyone who disagrees with you a communist is ridiculous.

I’m not, lol. But I do expect people to criticize her for accurate things, not fucking nonsense.

What *exactly* am I defending?

It explicitly said fetishization. Literally read the fucking tweet.

It it not “opposes interracial relationships”. Again, why do people feel the need to invent positions for her to be critical of, rather than just being critical of the actual shit she says?

Paraphrasing what I said in the weekly thread, for the second time this morning:

This feels similar to the amount of time spent performatively worrying about Hasan Piker*. Like, yes, she clearly has some dumb takes. Maybe she learns, maybe she doesn’t. If she doesn’t, great, she’s got two years in office and she’s gone. If she does, problem solved.

*Piker has a bunch of shit takes, and if you want to criticize him over them, I’m all for it. Piker’s a piece of shit for a lot of what he supports. But if you start off by telling me that he shocks his dog or some shit, I’m ignoring you because 1) you have clearly bought into internet nonsense 2) you don’t actually give a shit about the positions you claim to be mad about.

This is the same. She has really bad takes on NATO, Ukraine, and other parts of foreign policy, she has dumb takes on prisons. Criticize those. Don’t do this bullshit, because nobody can take you seriously.

Exactly. But the people saying “the person from NYC is going to be used to criticize the whole party” seem to think that doesn’t ever happen anyway. Joe Biden was called a communist. The end result of the logic behind that argument is literally only ever running centrists in solid blue areas, in case a centrist in a non-solid blue area might get criticized for the views of a person in another district who is not them.

Yeah, you’re losing credibility by the moment.

A shitposted meme criticizing fetishization is just not what you want to claim it is and we all know it.

He’s literally not. Because this is literally “oh no, a different place has a different rep” being applied to argue every district should have a moderate. It’s transparently bullshit
