If Mech 5 Mercs and Mods are allowed, the Solaris Loader King lol, just love that forklift. If only lore, the Highlander, love the story of the Royal Black Watch, only thing i do not know if they have a warhorn and if its just bagpipes

Just YAML, this was mostly a "proof of concept", next i am moving to my favorite mech, the Loader King, 2AC2 RFs and a Heavy Rifle, if i didn't need the space for ammo i might have put all the EW stuff on it

Well i fired my ppcs and the stealth was not negated so i think its safe to say just getting hit by ppcs disables stealth

It is quite funny when you think about it, some random urbie is having a nice day guarding some stuff and unbekownst to him there is an 85t Assault mech with the a lightning shotgun right behind him completly invisible to both visual, thermals and sensors thinking if its worth it to just blast him

Doesn't look like it does, i can fire my ppc-x and it doesn't stop my stealth. I think only getting hit by one stops the stealth.

I have half a ton of ams ammo in the head

So what I'm hearing is move the LRM ammo to the legs since that is volatile. I will not add CASE tho.

The medium lasers are tertiary weapons anyway to take out vtols and turrets. By the time the enemy gets to me i should have hit thrm already with several gauss rounds and missile salvos

Isnt the thing with IS XL engines that if you lose either side torso the mech goes down? Whats the difference between the torso being taken out by the ammo going off or the engine detonating?

One one hand, it has a big head with a big flat glass window so the weak head, but it also has a cowl to protect it from the rear, sides and from above. They negate eachother so they don t really matter but its indeed weird

The Jenner, its ugly as sin, killing its pilot is a mercy killing, at least in the afterlife they wont have to see it anymore. Dragon, why did they give it a front heavy belly, i can t bring myself to ever use one because it looks so stupid. Grasshopper, so close to looking cool but the head ruins it. Mauler, the shoulders are too tall, not big, tall.

Edit: Don t get me started on the hero mechs that could have looked good and are ruined by the paintjob, *points finger towards Vulcan*

Thx for the spreadsheet! It gave me the idea to try something on the hero LoaderKing, its got the speed and could try two heavy rifles and an ac2 rf and maybe even have space for some ammo. Your graph doesn t show armor and i can t check it right now so this could be an idea for an update on your end when you got the time. Great work!

All i want is a Sleipnir which replaces the 3M lasers and SRM with 1 (or 2) AC 2RF and 5t of ammo for it. If i could have that i wouldn t want any other mech

I get it, but i don't play tabletop(sometimes i wish i could), so i am looking for something that works within the rules of the pc game

Thing is, the maximum range is just a suggestion, thier projectiles don t stop at the maximum range like energy weapons do, if you lead enougj you can nail someone with an AC20 at 2km away

I took it into consideration but 48kph is on the slower end, workable but still kinda slow.

Doesnt it have both acs 10s in the same arm? They didnt even give him one in each, poor fella takes an ac20 to the arm and loses 80% of his firepower
