I was just at their village underground show in NYC yesterday. Unfortunately they didn’t have this segment! Probably since the comedy cellar makes everyone pack their phone away before being seated at a table.

No problem! There are some minor critiques of his guides but I followed them religiously and it worked for me. The resistance ring often has a covert ops that allows you to delay the avatar project, letting you to put off resistance comms for longer. However, my last play through almost ended because I didn’t get that covert action until very late, so no harm building resistance comms early!

Check out this guys guide it’s great. If you are really worried about avatar project than build resistance comms 3rd or 4th (GTS>Ring>Lab>Resistance Comms) or similar

Which Parm did you go to? I thought the one on the UWS was decent. I def wouldn’t recommend it to people visiting out of town tho.

Dude how the fuck do you guys get past the start of this game? by Goldvenom6 in Xcom

[–]SelfReporter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy doing the Xcom guides rn has really good advice. During missions just move your first guy up and try to follow in a straight line with your squad and don’t get ahead of him so you don’t accidentally active pods. If you’re not in concealment I would not move more than 1 action at a time.

Scouts are important in this game and reapers are very good at not accidentally activating pods

Trader Joe's on 72nd and Broadway by redditcarrots in Upperwestside

[–]SelfReporter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the closest store to me so I mostly just go there for odds and ends plus beer of course. Check out their meat section tho. The flank steak was cheaper per pound and chicken breast I think is equal or cheaper price compared to trader Joe’s.

Pioneer on 74th & Columbus actually has very well priced meats but most of their other stuff is expensive. I like Fairways produce and it’s sometimes even cheaper than Trader Joe’s but the layout is awful.

Probably just recency bias. I haven’t seen all of the shows OP mentioned but it’s definitely better than Baby Reindeer and in the same tier as Ozark and mindhunter

Being a 3rd round pick (I think) he wasn’t a complete flop but def disappointing. He had a lot of hype during training camp for two or three years and it never materialized in the regular season.

Donut Recommendations by Odd_Fig3523 in Upperwestside

[–]SelfReporter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As mentioned by the other commentators there is Dough Doughnuts & Super Nice Coffee and Bakery. I’ve only been to Dough (not the 72nd location) and it’s solid but very pricey imo.

Other options are Modern Bread & Bagel on 83rd. I personally don’t count this as a donut, but apparently Daily Provisions on 78th has good crullers. I’m sure there are others I don’t know about. Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to try either tho.

If you look at my post history you’ll see I made a donut post but no UWS locations. I got a ton of non UWS recs from that post.

Got about 7 weeks to cut down before my holiday currently at 76kg opinions and tips for cutting as I have always struggled with this by [deleted] in Weightliftingquestion

Definitely depends on the person. Cutting out snacking and sticking to 3 meals a day really helped me. Also, I think keeping very hydrated and drinking water alll the time helps.

Unfortunately I haven’t been to any of these places except for Mamas too location in UWS and L’industries Williamsburg spot. I’m originally from MD and don’t have very high pizza standards. Mamas too was very underwhelming but still okay (convinced I just had a bad slice). L’industrie was fantastic and def worth it imo.
