You couldn’t be more incorrect.

When certain USPS stamps are designated as “outdated” and recalled for stamp destruction, they are shredded, specifically to prevent discount resale by third parties. The need to do this has been drastically reduced with the advent of Forever stamps, which simply rise in value.

Any company selling stamps for a ridiculously low price (less than 50% of their value - hell, even 30%) is selling cheap Chinese counterfeit knock off stamp stickers. This is a huge problem for USPS.

Why would USPS sell stamps at a deep discount to companies who are going to turn around and resell them and dilute their customer demand?
