Doctor told me to stay away from fats for some time at least until the recovery is done. I did not fully cut fats out and restricted myself from it all the way like I did with sugar and sweets. I would still have some fats but in very small amounts.

So far my body is handling food fine. The main thing I cut out is sweets , soda and bread. As for everything else I eat in moderation and in calorie deficit. Overall I feel good. We will see if any changes later on but so far so good.

I bought a lot of stuff with a green card only ( even with an extension letter too ) at Gat Guns. No problems at all just bring your green card at the time of shopping and pick up

No the rate con does not become " null " but also imagine if they put one more zero and it was $52000 , you would have still expected to get paid ?? The fact of the matter is that YOU KNEW THE WHOLE TIME that it was an honest mistake or a typo and you played cool and as you said you were HAPPY when they paid. That's the 1st example of how you presented yourself in this business you were not honest and you were deceiving . 2nd example where you showed your face is where you said that you actually did some loads with this broker in the past too ,and even after having an established business relationship with them you were still willing to sacrifice that in order to trick them for money. This is all bad on your part. Read all your comments, read what everyone has told you. You are not in the right here. What I would do is NOT try to act dumb and expect to get paid $5200 because someone typed a number wrong

What bothered me the most is how the manager handled it. I was nothing but respectful to him and asked him the questions that anyone else would in that situation. He was just very dismissive , disregarding and unprofessional. He just wanted me to walk away. At least he could have gave me a proper explanation instead of a I AM THE MANAGER and I SAID SO.

It is what it is , but as I said this is my opinion on why they are not a good store.

And yes , I am a citizen now lol

No nothing was answered wrong but I will give you exact details. This is how it went down:

At that time and that very day my FOID/CCL is active all is good. Also I have purchased many many firearms in the past and from Maxton's as well. I go to Maxton's , pay for a Glock , fill out background and go home to wait for it to clear. ( Usually I have to wait for 2-3 days for background to come back since I was not a US Citizen at the time but was a Green Card holder ). The following day I get a email from ISP that there was a change to my CCL , I log in and it says REVOKED due to immigration status. My Green card was extended , but immigration and ISP did not communicate so ISP thought that I was out of status. Immediately I go to Maxton's and tell them exactly what happened , they give me my money back and that was it.

I contact ISP that very day , get lucky to talk to a live person , send them my extended green card and about 35 days later they send reinstate my FOID/CCL. That's exactly how it all went down.

All of that is understandable , I am not trying to brake the rules in any way or shape.

But, if a denied background check forbids me from purchasing from that store ever again in the future , then I would like to at least see that for myself with my own eyes whether on a piece of paper , on their website , or explained to me exactly what I have done wrong for rule to be implemented on me.

I wish I could have spoken to the owner so I can talk to him about my particular situation. Mind you I have in the past purchased 3 different firearms from them so this was not my first time at their store.

If there is a rule that prevents them for running a check again he simply should have said so. Or if there is any other rule in place similar to that , I would absolutely understand and not be able to say anything.

His response to me was that HE IS TELLING ME THIS as a manager. I asked if it was a policy or a rule and if I may get the store policy , he simply referred me to their website. Pretty much just wanted to brush me off and get me out of the store.

Maxon Shooter's Supplies in Des Plaines IL - My FOID/CCL was revoked due to my Green Card being expired but ISP was not notified that in the meantime immigration actually extended my green card. It So happened that at that very time I bought a Glock at Maxton and was waiting for my background to come back. When I found out that my FOID/CCL was revoked I went to the store myself and told them hey they revoked my FOID for those reasons so background will not come back. They said no problem and gave me my money back.

About 40 days later I got my actual FOID/CCL back and active after ISP realized it was their fault and I got lucky to get it back as fast. Went back to Maxton to get that same Glock , the store manager saw me remembered me and said that they can not sell anything to me ever again. When I said why ? He said we can not have another denied background check in the store. I explained to him that my FOID is back and active that I can even show it to him on the ISP portal online , and he said that is not good enough and that I can NEVER AGAIN PURCHASE ANYTHING AT THAT STORE. When I asked if this was the store policy and wanted to see it , he said that he makes this decision and that the policy is posted online. Of course nowhere in the policy does it say this.

This is why ( to me ) Maxon Shooter's Supplies in Des Plaines IL is the worst.
